My Personal Opinion:
In my personal opinion, yes. They are a part of the community. Because Asexual is apart of the community. You don't disown a cisgender/bisexual person from the community just for dating a person of the opposite gender, do you? You don't question their sexuality, do you? No? So don't question an Asexual person's sexuality.
