"Amaya! Amaya, wake up! Let's go! We're gonna be late!" I heard my brother call from outside the door.

I groaned in annoyance before shoving the pillow over my ehad to drown out his obnoxious banging on my door.

"Don't make me break down this door, Amaya Aishi!" He yelled. "All right, I'm up." I called, sleepily. I threw the blanket off me, then slowly and lazily began to get dressed.

As I was putting my shirt over my head, my phone vibrated on my desk, informing me I had just recieved a text message.

I picked up my phone, then opened the message. It was Nemesis-kun, texting me good morning. I smiled and texted "Good morning," back.

"Who are you texting this early in the morning?" Ayano asked as she stood by my doorway. "Nobody." I lied, and proceeded to pull on my stockings.

I felt Ayano's gaze on me for a bit until she walked out of the room. I sighed in relief and muttered, "That was close."

Once I was dressed, I went downstairs and found my siblings eating breakfast at the table. "It's about time," Yan-kun said. "Any longer and I would've been stabbing your door down."

"How thoughtful." I replied, sarcastically. I made myself a bowl of cereal and sat between him and Ayano. "So, how'd you sleep?" Ayano asked.

"Okay." I answered. "It doesn't look like it. Were you playing that stupid Yanvania game again?" Yan-kun asked. "Yes." I said, truthfully.

"I swear, you're becoming more and more addicting to that game everyday." He said, annoyed. I didn't reply as I ate a spoonful of my cereal.

"By the way, I'll be staying after school with Budo-senpai today," Ayano informed. "So, it'll be just you and Yan-kun until I get home."

"Not quite." Yan-kun said. "Huh?" Ayano gave him a confused look. "I'll be studying and doing homework with Taro-senpai, so I'll be late coming home tonight, too." He explained.

"But someone needs to be here and watch Amaya." Ayano argued. I deadpanned. "Ayano, I'm not 7. I can take care of myself. Besides, I've been by myself before. It'll be fine." I assured her.

A small smile made its way across my face as I blushed when I thought about inviting Nemesis-kun over to my house so we could spend some time together while the house is empty.

"What's with the smile, Amaya?" Yan-kun asked. I looked at him and noticed that he had leaned towards me to examine my smile.

"What do you mean? I can't smile? It just means I'm happy." I stated in an emotionless tone.

"You've been acting strangely happy lately." Yan-kun mentioned. "Does that mean you've found your Senapi?" Ayano asked.

"No, not yet," I lied. I still haven't told Ayano or Yan-kun about my relationship with Nemesis-kun. I mean, how do you tell your overportective siblings that you're dating someone who was previously assigned to kill you?

"Come on, let's head to school before we're late and get another lecture from the teacher." I picked up my empty bowl and put it in the sink so I could wash it when I get home.

"Professor Rino Fuka is gonna chew me out in front of the whole class. I know it." Yan-kun said as he changed into his school shoes.

"What makes you think that?" I asked. "I didn't do the homework." He answered. "We have some time before we need to get to class. That should be enough to finish it." Ayano stated.

I looked at my phone as I recieved another text message. It was from Nemesis-kun and it said, "Meet me in the Garden Maze."

"I have to go. I'll see you guys in class." I told my siblings, then left to the Garden Maze. I jogged to the Garden Club, then entered through the maze.

I walked around for a while until a pair of hands covered my eyes from behind, imparing my vision. "Is that you, Nemesis-kun?" I asked, playfully.

He responded by turning me around so I was facing him and planted a kiss against my lips. "Does that answer your question?" He asked with a small smirk.

I giggled before returning his kiss as I wrapped my around my arms around his neck. He kissed me back as his arms went around my waist.

"My siblings won't be home until late tonight. Would you like to come over?" I offered. "I'd like that very much." Nemesis-kun replied as he placed his hand on my cheek.

I closed my eyes and placed my hand over his while leaning into his touch. Nemesis-kun suddenly pulled me into his chest and pressed his back against the bush wall.

"What's wrong?" I asked. "Shh, someone's here," He held me protectively as he glanced around the corner of the Garden Maze. "You weren't followed, were you?" He asked.

"I don't think so." I answered. I listened as I heard footsteps step along the grass. Nemesis-kun held me more securely, as if he was waiting for someone to turn the corner.

"I could've swore I heard someone out here."

"It was probably just your imagination. Come on, let's get back to work before the bell rings."

I closed my eyes while giving a small sigh of relief when it was just the girls from the Gardening Club; I didn't realize I was holding my breath until now.

I expected Nemesis-kun to let go of me, but he didn't. Instead, he rested his chin on my head. "Nemesis-kun?" I asked, glancing up at him.

"Let me keep holding you like this. Just until you need to get to class." He said. I smiled and closed my eyes as I wrapepd my arms around his back.

"Funny. I was just thinking the same thing." I said, quietly.
