(Wednesday)

I couldn't stop thinking about Borupen. Ever since yesterday, he's been on my mind. I tried calling and texting Nemesis-kun to reconcile with him, but he wouldn't answer.

I guess he blocked my number. After changing into my indoor shoes, I spotted Borupen by the Occult Club, sketching a skull.

"What's so special about this skull? Why do you keep sketching it?" I asked him. "Something about it intrigues me," He stated.

"What intrigues you, Amaya Aishi? Do you like to sketch as well?"

"Sometimes, but I'm not really good at it." I admitted. "Shame. Maybe I can give you some lessons. I can teach you a few things." Borupen mentioned. "You wouldn't mind?" I asked.

"Not at all. We seem to have some things in common. Let's see what else we have in common. In return, I'd like you to do something for me."

"Like what?"

"We can discuss that later. Meet me in the Workshop at the East Wing of the second floor after class."

"Okay."

(Lunchtime)

"What do you prefer to draw with? Paint or colored pencils?" Borupen asked. "Um... paint." I answered.

He provided me with some art tools as he had me wear an apron so I wouldn't get any paint on myself. "When you're painting, you have to spontaneous and passionate. Make sure you paint with smooth and easy strokes." Borupen advised.

"Right," I replied. "But what should I paint?"

"Hmm..." Borupen thought for a moment before looking out the window. "Try painting the sky. Don't just draw what you see. Draw how you see it," I looked out the window, noticing how some dark clouds were forming.

We must be in for a storm later on today. I picked up a paintbrush, then began painting the sky. "Remember, smooth and easy strokes." Borupen reminded me.

I gave a nod and continued. I set my paintbrush down when I was finished, then stood up from my stool.

"What do you think?" I asked. "Not bad. Very brooding." Borupen said. "I like it. Let's paint a few more."

We painted a few more pieces while Borupen gave me more pointers on painting. "Thank you for the lesson, Borupen. You've helped me a lot." I said while giving a polite bow.

"I'm glad I was able to help," He replied. "See you later."

I waved to him and he walked away. "What was that about?" Yan-kun asked from behind me. "What do you mean?" I replied, my back still facing him.

"What were you two doing?"

"Nothing. Just painting."

"Painting? Since when were you interested in painting?"
