-Hermione Granger-

"Oh" I say and put his phone down. "He wanted to take me to lunch after we broke up because he thought he had a chance with me again." My heart starts to beat faster. "He kissed me but I pulled away from him and slapped him...For two reasons" I add on the end when I see anger light in Dracos eyes. "One it was too early and two It just didn't feel right to be kissing him because he wasn't you" I say truthfully and I see relief wash over his face.

He gulps and pulls me into his arms.

"I thought more had happened"

"No, I'd never get back with him."

"Why? You were in love with him for years" Draco says and tackles me down onto the bed

"Yes, but he broke my heart. Intentionally or not" I giggle and try to protect my sides to stop a tickle war.

Draco straddles me and I look up at him with love in my eyes.

Maybe we are meant to be together. We'll fight but it seems as if we always make it back to each other.

I'm still slightly hurt that he cheated on me, even if he was drunk. And high.

"Marry me" Draco blurts out and I raise my eyebrows at him. "We don't have to actually get married right now, bu-"

"Yes" I say, cutting him off. "But I still get to finish school first, right?"

"Yes, defiantly"

We both laugh and Draco leans our foreheads together, pressing small kisses to each other every now and then.

"Ill get the ring tomorrow" Draco says and I smile.

"Can I meet your family now?" I look up at Draco with hopeful eyes and he gives me a reluctant stare

"I don't even know if I want them at our wedding" He confesses to me and sits back up, still straddling me.

"What happened between you guys?"

"They were horrible parents Hermione" Draco says and moves some hair away from my face. "They treated me like garbage."

I frown and he looks deeply into jut eyes. "They always had high standards with the girls I was interested in... and I know that they won't like you. But I love you. So it doesn't matter what they think."

I take a deep breath and grab his hands, intertwining our fingers. "If you really don't want your parents to come, then they don't have to."

"And when we have kids, they aren't going to be in their lives"

"Draco..." I say with a deep sigh and he growls.

"No, they aren't going to be in our lives. I haven't talked to them in five years and I don't plan to talk to them any time soon"

"Five years ago you weren't of legal age"

"Blaise's parents took me in. They treated me better then my own parents."

-The Next Day-

I kiss Draco goodbye as he leaves for a meeting and then after that he's going to the store.

I'm not aloud to come with because he doesn't want me to see the ring until he 'officially proposes' to me.

I don't know when the official proposal will be because he also isn't telling me that.

I mean we're technically already engaged...ish.

I skip into the living room and jump over the back of the couch while flipping to sit right on the couch.

I'm amazing, I know.

-Draco's POV-

"Draco, I hear that you and your girl got back together." Brenton addresses me as I sip my whiskey. It slides down my throat with a slight burn but it doesn't bother me.

"Yes, we did." I say slightly snippy.

I just want this meeting to be done so I can go pick up the engagement ring.

"Why, didn't you cheat on the b-didn't you cheat on her?" Carlos corrects his wording because he knows what happened to the last guy that called her a bitch.

They can call their girls bitches, but they aren't calling Hermione one.

"I was drunk and high, we got in a fight and I was upset. I don't know what I was thinking at the moment but we worked it out."

"So you're going to get married then" One of the newer members chuckles. He has strawberry blonde hair and a slim face and lanky body. I think is name is Justin Garcia.

"If you have to know, I'm planning to propose soon" I say and down the rest of my whiskey before getting a refill.

"And you're so certain she's going to say yes" LaRue adds. I roll my eyes, what's with the bloody interrogation.

"Oh I'm sure" I wink and stand up. "I have to get going now, see everyone in a week?"

I run my hand through my hair and they all nod and I leave.

I head to the best jewelry's in London. The ring has to be perfect for Hermione. It can't be anything less then perfect.

"Hello Mr. Malfoy, What are you looking for today?" A lady with black straight hair that reaches her shoulder asks.

"An engagement ring" I say and look down into the glass case. They're all too small, she needs something bigger, but not too big because she doesn't like big hunks of jewelry.

"Oh, it's Hermione Granger, right?"

I glance at her and nod. "You can't say anything about it." I tell her and sigh before leaning back. "Do you have anything bigger?"

She grins and moves to the back. "I was wondering when you were going to ask."

Soon she comes back out with a large black wooden box. She sets it on the counter and opens it, revealing tons of smaller boxes, some black, some red, even a few dark green ones.

"Ok, what color are her eyes?"

"Brown, with golden flakes in them" I say and she smiles, picking out about 12 boxes from the box.

"How about her hair, is it curly, wavy, straight?"

"Brown curly hair."

She takes away two boxes and opens up the other ten, flipping them all to face me.

I smirk as I see the diamonds glimmering at me. But one stands out in particular.

It's beautiful. (I'm not showing it till the engagement)

I grab the box and look back up at the lady.

"This one"

"That is our most expensive ring Mr. Malfoy, you must love her very much."

"It's almost unhealthy" I whisper and hear a faint laugh come from the woman.

Hermione's going to love it.
