Xavier's pov
I woke up earlier today and decide to make my wife an apology breakfast. I finished my morning business and went to kitchen. I decided to make her favourite breakfast :blue berry pancakes and orange juice. I put a red rose next to the breakfast and went upstairs into our bedroom. I put the the tray on the nightstand and went to her side of the bed. I started kissing her neck down to her chest and then to her lips. She woke up and responded to my kisses. "Morning love" I said in between the kiss. "Good morning Xavier" she said and stopped kissing me. "I made you breakfast" I said and she sat up and ate the breakfast. "I'll go fill the bathtub for you" I got up and went into the bathroom. I filled the bathtub with water and then i added a lavender foam bath. "Babe are you done?" I asked peeking out of the bathroom. "I'm coming" she got into the bathroom. "I want you to relax and let me take care of you" I said and she nodded.
I undressed her and bathe her. "Julia" I called as she was dressing. "Xavier" she said. "I'm sorry about yesterday. I was so busy with work I lost track of time." I lied. She continued to dress and didn't say anything. "As a way to make it up to you I decided to take this week off from work and spend it with you." A smile crept onto her lips. "So today, i'm taking you to ZK boutique and we'll go shopping" I said sweetly. "Really?" She asked and her eyes sparked. "Yes,now hurry up,i told them we'll be there in 30 minutes and its been an hour" I said and went to get dressed. I decided to wear black jeans with grey sweaters.
The drive to the boutique was 30 minutes long. "I love you so much" my wife said, kissing my cheek.I got off the car and went to open the door for her. "You look beautiful" I pecked her lips. Her cheeks turned crimson red.
"Mr and Mrs Knights" Zane greeted us as she motioned for us to come in.
"Zane, what are you doing here?" Julia asked Zane annoyed.
"I work here" she answered with a smile.
"You work here?" Julia asked.
"This is my boutique actually. The ZK stands for Zane Kings" she responded with a smile plastered on her face.
"Ow, i see. Let's get started now shall we?" Julia said looking at the clothes.
Julia's pov
Scanning through the clothes, I caught Xavier and Zane stealing glances at each other. Pretending like i didn't see it I continued to pick out the clothes I like.
Do these two think i'm a fool? I saw how they were looking hungrily at each when we had dinner the other night. The way Zane was dressed, i'm sure she thought only Xavier will be there. I know where he was yesterday.
They clearly don't know me. .
