Chapter Three

You woke up the next morning, immediately getting up to take a quick shower. 

After drying off and making yourself look decent, you remembered about the note Matt left you.

You unfolded it, it had a number written on it.

'Let's talk more'

Was written below it.

Your face started to heat up. Sure people had given you their numbers in your line of work, but never somebody as cute as Matt.

Did he really like you that much?

You decided you would enter his number into your phone later. First you needed to go over to Matt and Ryan's so they could help you fix your car.

Leaving your apartment and locking it behind you, you walked for about 2 seconds until you reached their door.

You knocked softly and waited for a response.

"Come in!" You heard Ryan's voice call.

You hesitantly opened the door.

Ryan was standing by the stove, cooking something.

He was wearing a pair of boxer shorts and an old tshirt, he looked like he had just woken up.

"The house it a bit messy, but feel free to make yourself at home." He said to you.

You sat down at the dining room table. A cat brushed against your leg.

You leaned down to pet the small orange cat.

"Matt is still asleep. He'll be up in a bit." Ryan explained.

"Okay. I don't have to work today so I have all the time in the world." You said cheerfully. "Your cat is cute."

"Yeah! He's Matt's. His name is Banana Rambo but you can just call him Banana."

He hopped into your lap and rubbed his face against yours.

You had always wanted a cat, at your parents place you guys just had a huge dog.

"You want some eggs?" Ryan offered.

"Oh, sure!" You exclaimed happily.

"They're just scrambled, I hope that's okay." He said.

"Yeah, that'll be great." You responded.

Ryan plated some eggs for you and served you.

"Thanks." You said with a smile.

"No problemo. I hope they're alright." Ryan responded.

As you and Ryan ate, Matt finally emerged from his room.

He slowly made his way into the dining room and sat down beside you.

"Morning Ryan, morning (Y/N)." He said sleepily. "Wait (Y/N) is here!" He exclaimed, sort of jolting him awake.

His hair was super messy, and he was dressed in a pair of red flannel pyjama pants without a shirt.

"I didn't realize you would be here so early. If I had known I would've gotten up earlier and I wouldn't look like such trash." He explained.

"It's fine dude." You laughed.

He got up from the table to go shower and dress himself.

After about half an hour, Matt was ready.

He came out of the bathroom, he still looked quite tired, but cute.

"Alright, I'm ready." He said.

You got up from the table. "I'm ready to go when you guys are."

"Yeah, let me just put some jeans on." Ryan said, going into his room.

After Ryan was ready, you three headed out and got into his car.

The coffee shop wasn't far down the road, and fortunately the spot beside your car wasn't taken.

Ryan pulled up beside your vehicle and when you were parked, you got out.

You popped the hood of your car as Matt got some jumper cables out of Ryan's car.

He attached them onto the battery's of the two cars.

"Here we go!" Ryan said, starting the car.

You sat in your car and turned the key to start it.

Your car started itself up!

"Yes! Thank you Ryan!" You exclaimed.

"No problem!" He said with a smile on his face.

You got out and removed the jumper cables, placing them back in Ryan's car.

Ryan got out of his car. "It should work fine now, if you have any more problems just let me know."

"Thank you so much!" You said, running over to him and hugging him. "Let me buy you each a coffee."

You went into the coffee shop and got them each a coffee.

"Thanks (Y/N)." Matt said as you handed it to him.

"My pleasure!" You responded.

"Any plans for today (Y/N)?" Matt asked you.

"Well, I just got payed so I'm probably gonna head to the mall. I need new clothes." You answered.

"Fun, fun." He responded.

"What about you and Ryan?" You asked.

"We're probably gonna film a video and then sit around for the rest of the day." Ryan responded for him.

"You guys make videos? That's fucking rad!" You exclaimed.

"Yeah, you should check out our channel. It's called SuperMega." Matt said.

"I will when I get home!"

Matt smiled.

"Okay (Y/N), have a good day!" Ryan said, getting back into the car.

They drove off and you got into your car to go to the mall.

'maybe I'll invite a friend to come with me.' You thought to yourself.

You texted (friend's name).

She immediately got back to you saying she would love to go!

'I'll be over in a bit'  You texted her.

You turned off your phone and drove to your friend's house.
