You were extremely glad that you and Matt were now on good terms, it left you smiling like and idiot once again.
You spammed Ryan with thank you messages, without him things probably would've crashed and burned.
You waltzed back into your house, Brad continued watching his Netflix shows on your couch.
"Did it go well?" He asked, eyes still glued to the TV.
"Mhm! All is good!" You chirped. "Date night tonight."
"I have classes tonight so I won't be here." Brad said.
"Alright! Also I was wondering if you could go grocery shopping today? There's a list on the fridge." You asked.
"No problem." He said with a smile. "Let me finish this episode then I'll go."
"Thanks." You said before turning to your room to get ready.
You picked out a blue knit sweater and high waisted jeans, tucking in the sweater.
As you were cuffing your jeans, you heard your phone go off.
Matt: babe
Matt:baby are you ready yet
Matt: I know you're not busy, I'm hyped for this date
You giggled at his messages and picked up your phone to answer.
Y/N: so am I :)
Y/N: you wanna leave now?
Matt: yeah ! meet me at your car
Y/N: aight I'll be down in a sec
You put down your phone and slipped on some sneakers. It didn't take you long before you were out the door. The pitter patter of your cute new shoes filled the stairwell as you sped down to the lobby.
You had a skip in your step as you left the building, waving to the door man as you entered the parking lot.
Matt was leaned up against your car, a puff of smoke left his mouth as he shoved the juul back into his pocket.
"Hey (nickname)!" Matt greeted.
You flashed him a smile and wrapped your arms around him.
"Hey Ratthew." You replied. "Ready to go?"
He nodded and opened the passenger side door for you. You slid into the seat and buckled up.
Matt took a final hit off his juul and got into the car.
"You really need to quit that thing." You commented.
Matt sighed. "I wish it was that easy."
You smiled and took his hand. "I'll always be here to support you whenever you decide to begin that process."
"You sound like a therapist." Matt said with a smirk.
"Just tryna help my favourite boy, I can't help it." You said back.
"God you're adorable." Matt said, taking the keys and starting up the car.
