You woke up the next morning.
Ryan: Matt is ready to talk
That was hours ago.
I should head over pretty soon.
You thought.
(Y/N): I'll be over in a bit :)
You sighed and got yourself out of bed, got changed quickly and mentally prepared yourself to talk to Matt.
You slipped on a pair of slides and walked slowly down the hallway to Matt and Ryan's apartment.
You hesitated, your fist hovering above the door. Taking a deep breath, you knocked.
You heard footsteps come up to the door, and Ryan appeared, opening the door for you.
"Come on in (Y/N). Matt'll be out in a moment. I'm gonna stay as kind of a mediator between you two." Ryan greeted.
Ryan lead you to the couch, sitting down beside you as the two of you waited for Matt.
His bedroom door creaked, and a sad looking Matt emerged, his face was stained with tears and he was rubbing the streaks of water off of his cheeks.
He sat down on the other seat. Silent.
"Matt..." you started. "I'm sorry."
"It's not you who should be sorry. I overreacted." He choked out.
"You had a right to, I should've told you." You said softly. "I'm so sorry."
"Can you just explain to me now who that guy is?" He asked.
"He's a friend from highschool. He needed somewhere to stay, so I'm housing him until he can get back on to his feet." You explained.
Matt looked at you, he seemed to understand.
"I'm sorry I overreacted (Y/N)..." He said softly.
The both of you got up and embraced.
"Date night to make up for it?" Matt asked.
"Sure." You said with a soft smile.
"I'll text you the details later." Matt said mischievously.
You giggled. "I'll see you later. I love you Matt."
