"Ashton..." I'm speechless.
"I know. I don't know, either. The doctor said that there was a 40% chance that the long term memory loss would bring cancer. He said we could fight it and it is curable, and so is my case of the memory loss. I just hope we can get it to leave my body and that I can return back to normal and not have all of this going on with me."
I finally found my words. "I hope so, Ashton. I don't want to have to see you like this or any worse."
"I hope so, too. We better get to class though. I'll see you after school."
"Alright. Bye mate." I walk to my next class after grabbing my science book from my locker. I try not to think about why is happening to Ashton right now.
