*end of last school day*

"Luke."

I turn around to see my science teacher, Mr. Breanks, looking at me. (Pronounced Brinks) "Yes, Mr. Breanks?"

"I just wanted to thank you for being a great student this year. If I had to choose a few favorite students you would be one. You aren't the smartest, but you got your work done, all of it. You were always helping other students out that were in need when I was busy. I appreciate it."

Luke smiled his big white smile. "Your welcome. I'm always wanting to help. And I want to get a good job when I go to college to study, so I try my hardest to keep up on things."

"Keep it up at your new school?" Mr. Breanks hand was on my shoulder now.

"I will truly try my hardest to continue, sir."

"Thank you. Goodbye, Luke. Have fun in New York."

"I hope I will. I will miss everyone though. Last hug?" I hug my favorite teacher and leave the classroom.

I walk through all of the crowded halls to find my locker that will no longer be mine after I clear everything out.

I open my locker easy as that and look at the books to return to the library today. I will get those last. I start taking down all of the pictures of Cal, Mikey, Ash, and I and put them in my bag one by one.

There is one picture that stands out from the others though. It's of me and my ex-girlfriend, Tiffany. God, she's a completely different person now. She's rude, she's a slut, definitely not the girl from the photo. I stuff it into my backpack along with the others.

Once everything is cleared out I close my locker that is now empty and become startled by the three boys standing near.

"Do you have to leave? Luke, we can't live without you. What about the band we talked about?" Calum asks.

"Yeah. I thought we were going to start it this summer?" Michael adds.

"Guys, I don't want to leave either. But, I have to. I can't live on my own. Plus, I love my family and I can't leave them. They mean too much to me. Not that you guys don't. But you just have to understand." I look the other way.

"I'm coming with you." Ashton says.

"So are we," chimes in Calum and Michael.

"You can't. You guys have your own families and your education and you guys will be fine without me."

"But, Luke." Calum whines.

"I'm sorry. Ill miss you guys." We all hug and I head off to the library. That was probably the last conversation face to face I will have with those boys. Because the next two days is all family and then the long flights to New York.
