We drive in silence. Not a word said. I think about what that police officer told me before I left; with me being new and everything. That kind of made things seem different here.

I walk inside the apartment I have to myself. I walk to the fridge to see if my mom went shopping yet. And sure enough, it's full. So is the pantry.
I make myself tea and soup. After sitting at the table and scrolling through my Twitter and eat. Once I finish, I throw the dishes in the dishwasher. I close it up and walk to the couch.
I just sit there in silence remembering the day.
"TAYLOR." I practically yell her name. I startle myself. "God, I almost forgot about her. She's so beautiful. I can't wait to get to know her."

I look at the time on my phone noticing that it was 6:45. I suddenly feel really tired remembering I have homework to do.
I grab my back pack from by the front door where I had left it. Walking to the dining table I pull out my books and papers one by one noticing how much I have. I hope I can get this finished I think to myself.
I set my alarm for 9:30 for bed before starting on my large pile of homework in front of me. "This shall be exciting."
