That Night
I went downstairs.
"What's for dinner?" I asked.
Normally when it was just me and Dad we would cook together one of our favorite meals every Friday.
"Hey sweetie, we learned how to make sushi in California! We're doing that tonight! Isn't that fun?" My mom asked.
I sighed.
"Yea sure." I said.
I went back upstairs. The door for Annie's room has been locked for hours. I knocked on the door.
"What do you want Lilly?" She yelled.
"To talk to my sister I haven't seen in 2 months." I said.
She opened it. Hayden was sitting on the bean bag chair. Music was blasting. I sat on her bed.
It's not that I don't love my sister but sometimes she could be a brat, especially when the spotlight is on her.
"Do you think there is going to be time where we can just have some, twin time?" I asked.
"I have plans with Katie and Mia all day tomorrow and then me and Hayden have a date but maybe Sunday?" Annie asked.
"I have a 8 hour pointe class, i'll be too tired and sore to even function after that." I replied
"Isn't pointe like professional ballet on your tip toes?" Annie asked.
"Yea, pretty much." I said.
"No way your sister's a professional ballerina?" Hayden asked.
"I mean i train 20 hours a week for dance but if I get into a good dance college and keep training when i'm older i can be the real deal full on tutu swan ass lake ballerina." I said.
"I used to want to do college gymnastics, who knows maybe I can start training again and get into the Olympics." Annie said.
"You really think you can just diddly daddle with this "I'm a pop star" do some training when you have a day off and magically get into the Olympics?" I argued.
"Since when are you all educated about gymnastics?" Annie asked.
"Do you know anything about me? I was a gymnast until i was 10 years old! I was level 7! I trained way more than you did and nobody cared because I lost my chance to be somebody!" I yelled
"You aren't somebody because you never wanted that! What are we going to do? Make a vlog about how I have a secret rebel ballerina bad ass artist twin sister!" Annie yelled.
"Why not Annie? Because you lied about you and Hayden breaking up you think people aren't going to believe you? You're jealous of me Annie. I know you want to be normal and I know you're jealous." I screamed.
"Why would I be jealous of you? You have the most boring life ever." Annie scoffed.
I did something I never thought I would do..
I KISSED HAYDEN!
"Jealous now?" I asked. I whipped my head around and left.
