11- School

After a long long rehearsal I was left with packing and packing and more packing. because I would be moving to LA for a long time. With visiting sometimes of course.

There was 2 weeks until the show and me and Hayden were having a blast learning it. We had the whole routine down and it was so fun. There is a lot of dancing and tricks in the number and nobody else can pull it off.

Annie has been talking to me only a little bit but hasn't had a full conversation with me in weeks upon weeks upon weeks.. She only says things like "Hi." "Lilliana Can you shut my door" or "Pass the salad" she doesn't even call me Lilly anymore.

My Mom came into my room. "Hey Lilly. There's something I want to talk about.." She said

"Okay." I said while taking trophies off my shelf. 

"When we get to LA.. It'll be august already. I found a high school, A private school actually. With actual classes and students. It's an amazing school and it's great for your future and if you have to miss school they designed their website for absent kids to make up work"

"High school? A school that's in person? Like a actual school..?" I asked. "Yeah Lilly, your sister doesn't want to go but I'm thrilled with the idea of you making friends this way. I know it sounds hard because all of the photo shoots and talk shows reaching out but I think it can work." She said

"But we're only staying for like a year." I said. " longer Lilly. Hayley and Annie have their Brat shows reviving next year.  And Hay is shooting a new series with disney channel in LA soon." my mom said.

"Okay.. Fine." I said. I don't know how Hope would feel about this. "I think you should think about it more about it. it's a good idea." my mom said while leaving. 

Hayden came in. "Oh. Hey. I'm just visiting right now. Your friend hope is here you might want to bring her up here before she like eats me or something." He said. I laughed. "Sorry, she's harmless by the way." I said. "So it's official? You're moving to LA?" He asked. "Yeah. My mom is trying to enroll me in a fancy private school and stuff." I said. "Wow.. Good luck. You'd handle it well though. You're badass. I mean look at this room. it's hot pink." He said. "Shut up. I said. You're just staying for a few days? Is annie sad for leaving you?" i asked. "Oh. Actually me and Annie are shooting together for brat. i'm renting a place with my parents for a few months until it's over." He said. "Oh cool." i said.

Hope came upstairs. "I came to help pack!" She said. Hayden went back. "See you Lilly, Bye hope." He said. "Bye Hayden! Text me!" She said.

"Stop." I joked to her. "I'm so sad you're moving Lills. It's going to be a year only I know but It's going to feel like forever." She said. "Hope.. I'm actually staying there for quite some time.. I'm going to go to school there.. A private school. I hope you're not mad." I said. "No! Why would I be mad? Just don't forget me" She said. "I'm sorry you're doing that thing you do when you're mad.." i said.

"What?" Hope asked. "When you  raise your eyebrows." I said. I sighed. "I'm going to miss you. My mom really wants me to go there. Trust me. I'll visit as much as I can!" I said. "I wish you never became home schooled, but I'm happy you're at least going to some kind of school. But are you quitting dance?" Hope asked. "No. I'm doing a LOT of dancing for these shows I'm doing. And some singing," I said. 

"You're going to love LA. I've never been but maybe I can visit!" She said. She helped me hook some of the lights off my wall. 

I know hope was sad I was leaving. But LA had a lot for me.
