Excuse any mistakes. ENJOY!

When we entered the hospital my father was already there, in his police uniform. Good thing I convinced Calvin to let me walk.

I walked to where my father was sitting, "Kevin." I said, calling him by his name.

He looked up, "Who in the hell broke your wrist Jennifer!?" He said and a stern voice.

He doesn't care that my wrist is broken he just cares about who broke my wrist because, like I said he doesn't like anyone to put their hands on me but him.

"Some guy in class.." I said lowly.

He walked up to the receptionist desk, "When will my daughter be able to get her wrist checked out? It's broken ma'am. "

"In just a moment sir, please be patient. " The receptionist replied.

My father nods, and comes sit back down.

"He seems to care about you a lot." Calvin spoke for the first time since we arrived at the hospital.

If only you knew.

And it dawns on me that I said that out loud. Why do I always voice my thoughts?

"If only I kn-"

He got cut off by my fathers voice, "Who is he?!" He yelled staring at Calvin with rage in his eyes.

"uh.. um, he's t-the one who brought me here.."

I know he told us to act natural in public but how can I do that when he's constantly yelling at me.

"Thank you son, for bringing my daughter here, but you can leave now, I'll take care of her." He said rubbing my back.

Yeah, right.

"Uh, I came here in Jennifer's car, so I don't think I can leave.."

My father looked at me with anger in his eyes, "Ah, I see." He stated. "I need to speak with my daughter. In private." He didn't even give Calvin time to reply, before he grabbed my broken wrist and pulled me into a corner, where no one could see us.

He threw me into the wall, "What the hell were you thinking letting some stranger get in your god damn car!?" He yelled in a whisper.

I got up, holding my aching wrist "He's not a stranger, he helped me when that boy tripped me and made me break my wrist.." I mumbled back.

Just then Calvin rounded the corner, "Uh, sorry to interrupt, but I just wanted to let you know my friend is just going to pick me up, and take me back to school." He said.

I almost yelled out No, please stay! But I caught myself.

I just nodded, and my father smiled, "Thank you."

Calvin nodded and walked away.

When he was gone my father was about to yell at me again, when I heard the receptionist telling us we could go back now to get my wrist checked out.

"I'll deal with you later. " My father said before walking off, and I slowly trailed behind him.

A nurse led us into a room, "The doctor will be with you shortly." She said with a small smile, before leaving the room.

I thought he was about to yell again, when he just stayed quiet the whole five minutes before the doctor came in.

We left out of the hospital doors at about 11:15, and my dad told me to go back to school, even though the doctor said I shouldn't, and I should go home and rest. my wrist was indeed broken, and they had to snap it back into place, before they put the cast on. I had a blue cast that stopped right below my elbow.
