I pulled up to a run down motel, because I needed money to save.
I unbuckled Jaylee, and she got out holding her head down, dragging her bookbag, I got out my back, and closed and locked the doors going into the motel.
The place didn't look so bad inside, we walked to the front desk, and the lady looked up.
"May I help you?" She asked in a dull tone.
"How much would it be for a.. weeks stay?" I asked politely.
"Five hundred dollars."
I nodded, "I'll take it."
I handed her the money, and she handed me a key.
I thanked her, and me and Jaylee started walking up the steps to the room.
When we got there I opened the door with the key, entering.
The room had a single bed, a stand next to the bed, a small dresser, a refrigerator, a small TV, and a bathroom.
"Let's get you showered, you'll have to just go to school tomorrow."
She nodded, sniffling.
I grabbed her hand, pulling her to the bathroom.
I turned the water on, and stripped Jaylee, putting her into the tub.
I washed her, silently. She'd usually talk to me while I'm washing her, but this time she's just quiet, not moving a muscle.
I wrapped the towel around her, and she got out of the tub, and walked back into the room.
I dressed her, putting her on a Pajama dress, and when I was done she instantly got into bed.
I decided I was going to take a shower, then count the money I took.
It was a lot, so I'm pretty sure I got at least one hundred thousand, he's been saving that money up since my mother died, and he has more in another safe some where.
I went into the bathroom, (but left the door open so that I could watch Jaylee while I'm in the shower) and started the water, getting in.
I washed my body thoroughly, twice, and got out.
I put on some Pajama pants, and a spongebob shirt, getting into the bed with Jaylee.
~*~*~*
I woke up with Jaylee laying on top of me, I didn't have a problem with it, except if I moved, she'd wake up, but I had to get up.
I slowly tried to get her off of me, but I didn't succeed, because she woke up.
"Mommy, I'm hungry."
"We'll get some food in a minute."
I looked at the clock on the night stand, and it read 3:45, we slept for quite some time.
I grabbed my bag, and pulled out all of the money, counting it.
When I finished, I counted up 99,468 dollars.
This was alot of money. I was not going back to that house, at all.
This was enough money to last me and Jaylee for awhile, I should've just took the whole safe.
"Let's go get something to eat." I told her.
She nodded, standing up.
I went into her bag, and pulled out a jumper, it was like a dress, but it was shorts instead of a skirt, and it attached.
