You know that feeling you have in your stomach when something bad is about to happen? I have that feeling at this very moment.
Jaylee is upstairs still taking her nap, and me and Calvin were still reading.
I kept glancing at the door, my leg bouncing up and down, waiting for him to walk through the door.
He'll probably just bash my head into the coffee table before he even let's me explain, and I'm terrified.
"Are you okay?"
I flinch back, "U-uh, yeah, j-just fine." I laugh nervously.
He looks at me weirdly but continues reading.
Honestly? I'm not listening to a damn thing he's saying.
Yes I loved the Hunger Games movie, and I'm excited about reading the books, but I'm just on the edge.
As I started back listening and my bouncing leg stops, the front door opens, and I forgot what breathing was.
Calvin didn't notice as he kept reading, but, me? Oh, I'm fine. I'm about to passout from lack of breathing, but other than that I am oh so wonderful.
Note the sarcasm.
He walks into the living room, and stops in his tracks.
He's sending daggers at my heart.
I'm terrfied.
"Goodevening Sir." Calvin speaks.
My dad forces a smile, "Goodevening, Calvin is it?"
Calvin nods, and my dad does to.
"May I speak with you Jennifer? In private." Even though he stated it as a question, he wasn't really asking.
I stood, and followed my dad to the kitchen.
Soon as we got in there, I was pushed into a wall, getting choked.
"Why the hell is he here?!" My dad whisper yells with anger in his eyes.
I'm loosing conscious, he's gripping my neck so hard.
"Answer me!"
How the hell am I supposed to?!
I raise my hand and started pointing to my neck hoping he'd get the message.
He looked at my hand, and finally let me go.
I gasped for air, while coughing.
"He's here.. because we have to be partners... for three months, working on these three books, inside and... outside of school." I say stopping between words, still gasping for air.
"What fucking type of shit is that?!"
Why is he taking this out on me?
"If we don't do it we fail." I coughed out.
He stared at me for a moment, still glaring.
"I don't want him in my house, you'd better go to his house, and be back at 6:00, if you are one second late, you know what happens."
I am shocked.
He's actually giving me permission to go to someone else's house.
A BOY'S HOUSE!
I just nodded.
"Your dismissed." He sneered.
I hurry out.
I walk back in the living room, trying to look normal as possible.
I sit next to him.
"Everything okay?"
I nodded, "Yeah, but change of plans. We have to do this at your house, if that's fine, and Jaylee has to come to, if not then we will just fail."
"That's fine. Are we done for the day?"
I nodded again, and he stands, and hands me my book, and picks up his.
"I'll see you tomorrow then?"
I nodded again.
He walks out of the door, and I close and lock it.
I ran up the steps, well more like sprinted as if I was at a track meet.
I go into my room and close and lock the door.
I pull out of my clothes, and put on a tank top, and some flannel pajama pants.
Since some of Jaylee's clothes were in here, I went into my closet, and pulled out her a pajama dress.
I tried to change her with out moving her much, but I had to lift her hands, legs, and head, so moving her was impossible.
Suprisingly as I was taking off the dress, she didn't wake up.
I put the pajama dress on her, and then climbed in the bed next to her, pulling her close.
"Goodnight mommy. " She mumbled.
"Goodnight darling." I said kissing her cheek.
Yeah, your probably wondering why were going to sleep at 6:00? Well, there's nothing else to do.
And yes, if I go to sleep now, I won't wake up till the morning.
