School was finally over, and I was so happy. Calvin and his friends were so annoying. I really hope they don't do that tomorrow.
I was walking to my car, when I heard my name being called.
I turned my head, but didn't stop walking, and I saw Calvin jogging over to me.
"Yes?" I said when he was close.
"Where do you have to go?"
"You'll see. "
I just know he's gonna be surprised.
We both got into our cars, and I drove off leading the way to Jaylee's school.
Two minutes later I pulled into a parking space, and Calvin pulled next to me.
When I looked over he was looking at me confused.
Please don't get out.
I got out the car, and Calvin did also.
Ugh!
"Why are we here?"
I didn't answer, I walked towards the playground and looked for Jaylee.
"Jaylee! " I called, and she turned her head and started running to me.
"Ohhh, for you little sister."
Yeah, no.
She ran up to me, "Hey love." I said stooping down to her level.
But she wasn't looking at me, she was looking at Calvin, "Who is he?"
He stooped down also, "I'm Calvin, I'm your sisters friend." He smiled at her.
"I have a sister Mommy?!" She said looking at me smiling big.
Calvin's smile dropped, and he looked confused.
"No baby, Calvin is just confused."
"What is confused Mommy?"
I didn't answer, I stood up, wincing at the pain in my back.
Calvin stood to, "Thats.. That's your daughter?" He asked, frowning.
"Yeah. " I said looking down at her, grabbing her hand.
"How old is she?"
"I'm four!" She answered herself.
"Yeah, four." I said walking to my car.
Calvin kept quiet as we walked to our cars.
I buckled Jaylee in, and got in the car.
Soon enough, we were headed to my house.
We pulled up, and I got out, getting Jaylee also.
Calvin still had a confused look on his face.
We walked into the house, and into the living room.
"Mommy, I'm hungry." Jaylee said pulling on my leg.
"You can sit on the couch, I'll be right back."
I walked into the kitchen, "What do you want?"
"Peanut butter jelly sandwich." She answered.
I nodded and got the bread, peanut butter and jelly, and made it for her.
We are suppose to eat in the kitchen, but he's not here, so she'll eat at the table in the living room.
We walked back into the living room, and before I could sit down Calvin asked a question.
"You had her at thirteen?"
I nodded.
"Where is the father?"
I shrugged my shoulders.
"So, you had a baby at thirteen, and has no clue where the father is?" He chuckled. "Wow, that was a smart thing to do."
I started to get angry, "Look, if your gonna talk down on me, you can get the hell out, " I pointed to the door, "This is why I didn't want anyone finding out, you people are always quick to judge someone, not even knowing the real story or what happened, I'm not gonna deal with this, get out, or shut the hell up." I said in a cold voice.
"Mommy, bad word!" Jaylee yelled.
I looked at her, "I'm sorry, mama is just angry."
Calvin looked shocked. I guess because of the way I just talked to him, but I didn't care.
He cleared his throat, "What's the real story then?"
"None of your buisness, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't say anything to anybody, because they'll judge, just like you did. "
Jaylee went to go throw her plate away.
"Okay, I'm sorry, your right. I won't tell anyone. " He said looking me in my eye.
I just nodded, "Let's start."
We were fifteen minutes into the book, and then Jaylee started crying.
I ran upstairs and into my room, she was laying on my bed, but her eyes were closed.
She was screaming, and kicking.
I rushed towards her, ignoring the pain in my back, "Jaylee wake up." I cradled her in my arms.
She was having a nightmare.
I continued to soothe her while trying to get her to wake up.
Finally her eyes fluttered open with tears running down her cheeks, "Mommy, I had bad dream! He's gonna get me mommy!" She yelled in fear.
"Shh, no one is gonna get you love." I started to sing to her, rocking her back and forth till she went back to sleep.
"You have a great voice." I heard Calvin say from the door.
I looked up, "Thanks." I murmered.
"Look, I'm sorry for judging you."
I just nodded, "I tend to get judged alot. Come on let's go back down stairs."
