Sofia the First: The Mystery Allergy

What Could It Be?

The next day, Sofia went over to Hugo's palace. Hugo was telling her what Axel told him.

"Whatever is making me react that way around you, we'll just have to find out," Hugo declared.

"Okay," Sofia smiled.

Then Hugo let out a sneeze and broke out in green spots.

"Bless you," Sofia said.

"Thanks," Hugo sniffled. Then he blew his nose.

Axel came around the corner and saw Hugo covered in green spots. "Baby bro, what happened?" he gasped.

"Like I said, I've been reacting this way to Sofia—at least since we came home from our trip," Hugo declared.

"Like you said, we'll find out what it is," Sofia declared.

"I hope so—who knows what Mom and Dad will say when they see Hugo like this?" Axel frowned.

"I just hope we find out before Sofia and I do something drastic," Hugo gulped.

Sofia felt like she knew what Hugo meant—if he was allergic to her, there's a chance they'll have to break up.

Throughout the day, Sofia and Hugo thought about what his allergy could be, but there was nothing on Sofia making Hugo react like this.

Later, Sofia went back to her own castle. She thought about what Hugo's allergy could be, and she truly hoped Hugo wasn't really allergic to her—otherwise, they'd break up.

Amber, James, Hildegard, Clio, and Zandar came, and they were all concerned when they saw how unhappy Sofia was.

"What's the matter, Sof?" James asked.

"Hugo and I have been trying to figure out what's making him sneeze and break out in green spots," Sofia frowned. "If it really is me, then we'd have to take drastic measures!"

Amber, Hildegard, Clio, James, and Zandar gasped—but Hildegard only saw the bright side of this.

"You and Prince Hugo are breaking up?!" Hildegard cried happily.

"Hildegard!" Amber, Clio, James, and Zandar snapped.

"It's gonna be fine, Sof," James assured his younger sister. "I'm sure you'll find Hugo's allergy soon enough."

"I hope so," Sofia said with a brave smile.
