I play through people like passages of music. Some are more memorable than others.
Minuets verses intricate concertos, but they all blend together in the end.
She smiled in C major, sweet and lilting.
But I tired of her simplicity. He cried in A flat minor, unique and Intoxicating.
But not worth the effort.I cast them aside in search of something better.
A swift mordent here, a small secret there, all the while fingers grow numb.
Crumpled up paper and spilled ink souls, yet mine remains apathetic.
Their melodies now muddled like smeared watercolor. It's time to move on.
For I never dwell on one piece for too long.
