Frigid Sunday, nervous glance
Held our gaze, a lover’s chance
In seconds, passed eternity
Something dark ‘tween you and me
Did lightning strike and bloom our fear
Or whispers pass from mouth to ear
No, we kept our secret true
It stirred revolt in me and you
Dinner, lunch or something more
Your humor pierced me to the core
Across and under tabletop
Terror ticks that wouldn’t stop
And this, no that—be evil’s light
Secret clues did eyes ignite
Twist in hell, with maggots rot
Undoubtedly we will get caught
But soldier on, rebellious pair
Let demons steal your every care
And when you ache to tell it all
Curse those who plead for you to fall
Withstand, corruption! Jump and leap!
Ponder nights you’ll never sleep
Take back your glance and longest gaze
Apart, enjoy much better days
