When I was still a child
My dad took me to this place
Where the sun kissed my skin
And I could get lost in a flowery mazeThis is where I met him
My endearing flower boy
Who talked with his eyes
And didn't treat me like a toyEvery day in that month
He conveyed what he didn't dare to speak
Daisies were for 'I love your innocence'
Asters were for 'it's okay, you aren't weak'Acacia's were send
When my dad was away
Roses were for all the other things
He didn't dare to sayI saved them all
Locked in a book
Where no one else but me
Could take a lookAt all the feelings
Flowers could convey
Reliving the beautiful moments
I had in May
