Abraham could not have foretold
The wrath of gods might tenfold
For when Adam gave Eve the fruit of wisdom
He knew not it would be no benedictionYou may call me Eve, fine madame
I concur I'm the source of sin, yes ma'am
Am I Satan? No, much worse than that
I'm human- but I'll make your heart fall flatYou know, he was an angel once before
So he became evil, to settle the score
I'm doing my absolute, terrible best
To follow in his sinful, wretched footsteps. You were all led falsely to believe
That I had no idea of the apple - me, Eve!
But I knew precisely what I was doing
In letting out sin to do my false biddingYou faithful few, following a lost prophet
Slither my way, I'll teach you what life's about yet
Sin, my children, come and sin galore!
And make sure to destroy your dear, dear amourOh? Have I put you under my spell?
Sadly, you wont be hurt - not yet, time will tell
You just have to reach for me, with your lips
And seal your fate within my cold hearts abyssCome, come, into my Eden you go
To find your life yet lose your soul
Whatever left of it may there still be,
Hand it over - it belongs to me.This place of lost hopes and dreams
You seem to look at it through a screen
Darling, that's simply the mask you've worn
All your life - with it, you were bornWith its absence, you can finally be free
To sin, and frolic - but never to leave
For this is my garden, and my name is Eve
Any attempt to escape is met with no reprieveCome, step into my garden
Welcome, to my sinful false EdenMake yourself at home, sinner.
