Carmen's POV***

I pace around my room waiting for Heart to come back. She left saying she needed to file my medical papers. I stop pacing as my stomach grumbles for the umpteenth time. If I don't get some food soon, I swear I'm going to wreak havoc. Minutes pass, and I start to wonder where my phone is. If only I had my phone I could order some food...I start salivating at the thought of noodles.

The door opens again and I spin around to see Heart back. "Where's my phone? I'm hungry, I want some food." She blinks a couple times before pulling my phone out of her pocket. "Here." She tosses the phone to me and I catch it easily, wasting no time to speed dial Panda Express.

They pick up on the second ring, "Hello, thank you for choosing Panda Express. May I take your order?" Heart rolls her eyes sitting on the bed, waiting for me to finish.

"Uh yeah," I speak into the phone rubbing my hungry belly. "Could I please have the orange chicken noodle bowl with some fried rice on the side? Oh yeah! Could I also get the pork and veggie tray? I also want a tall sprite to drink."

The lady on the phone writes the order down, "Anything else Ma'am?"

"Umm no, that's it."

"Ok, that'll be $14.97 at the door. Who is the order for?"

"Carmen."

"All right thank you. Have a nice day!" I mumble a "you too" before ending the call.

"You know I'm not gonna let you pick that up, right?" I narrow my eyes at Heart. "I've been asleep for almost two months, attacked once and threatened twice. I'm getting my panda and you can't stop me. I want some ice cream too. Actually, if I'm gonna be on house arrest, I want someone to buy me a mini fridge for my room."

Heart scoffs standing up, "We'll see."

I look around the room again, "Can I go back to my dorm? This place is....bland."

"School gets out in about three hours, you can go then. For now, I suggest you take a shower while I send someone to pick up your order. Is it the panda downtown?" Heart heads for the door, pausing for my answer.

"Yeah, I have their Panda Express on speed dial." I make my way over to the bathroom hearing her laugh and leave the room. Once inside the little bathroom, I strip turning so I could take a look at my back through the mirror. Just like the letter said, an identical scar goes across my back below the one I got at Camp Wakina. "Marvelous," I comment hopping into the shower. There were a razor, shampoo, and conditioner.

I took my time showering, marveling at all the hot water. I ended up washing my hair three times to make sure it was clean. Turning the water off, I start Humming to myself as I dry my body off. For being in a coma for so long, my body sure does feel great. I stretch my muscles hearing a couple pops.

I hear the door to my room open and smell the food. I scramble to put my clothes on before racing out of the bathroom. "Oh thank god, I'm starving." I thank the man who brought me my food before proceeding to gulp it all down. I look at my phone to see that today was November 3rd, the first Friday of the month. Oh my god, I'm gonna have so many tests to take.

"While you were asleep, Ellie brought all of your homework to your room. I suggest you get it all done before Monday if you don't want to be swamped." I jump surprised hearing Heart's voice. I didn't even know she came into the room.

"Geez, you scared me." I take a long sip of my soda. "I don't doubt that my friends will help me with what I missed, but the sooner I get to my room, the sooner I can start." I don't relish the idea of school work, but I defiantly need something to take my mind off the drama right now.
