The New Lords and Lady's

Carmen's POV**

I didn't even break a sweat, the whole fight lasted maybe a minute and forty-five seconds. I get off Brooklyn's back, still grinning; and then I hear the fights in the other rings. I scramble out of the first ring, pushing my way through the rankers until I'm watching Ellie. I'll only be able to watch one at a time, unless...

I look up at the streetlight thinking. If I can become Queen, I can certainly climb this pole. It's not that wide around anyway, plus I already won the fight. It's not gonna harm anyone if I was to just sit on top of it...

Hesitantly I look around at the other rankers who have now gone to watch the other fights. I shrug, this will probably be like climbing a rope. I get to work.

God damn it! I slide down the pole again. Why does it have to be so flippen slippery?! I hear a couple laughs behind me. I frown flipping them off. I'll just use my lightning then...

In a flash, I'm on top of the light pole. Why didn't I try this first? I sit with my legs crossed, this was a pretty fricken big street light. There was room for six, like what the heck. I lean over, resting my chin in my hand.

The view was absolutely amazing! I could see everyone, Khalene was busy with hand-to-hand combat with a pyro, healing herself whenever she got burned. Cody was engulfing his foes with whatever was in the shadows. By the screams that were coming out of it, I don't really want to know...

Shawn was transforming between a tiger and a gorilla, taking turns to smash and bite. For some reason, I kept thinking of Donkey Kong. Ellie was in full-on attack mode now. She was barely giving Keira any time to recover as she launched a rally after rally of vines and toxic plants. There wasn't much Keira could do, being a sound manipulator. A savage howl brings my attention over to ring six.

Aaron was fighting against Heather Sparks, the air manipulator, and was winning. Not only that but he has the same gift as Shawn, but he's not switching animals...he only stays as a huge black wolf. What do the other brother's do then?

Aaron lunges under a blast of air, rolling over scraping his claws into Heather's side. She screams in pain, getting frustrated. When Heather gets mad, she can suck the oxygen out of the air, it doesn't feel very fun believe me.

I wince as I watch Aaron bite into her leg after dodging a wave of air. She goes to grab onto him when cheering from another ring takes my attention. I look over seeing Cody holding his hands up in victory. The crowd around him suddenly starts shouting his new name, "Lord Shadows! Lord Shadows! Lord Shadows!"

I smile, standing up screaming his new name too. More cheering from Khalene's ring tells me she's won, "Lady Aurora! Lady Aurora! Lady Aurora!" My smile only widens when Shawn wins his match. "Lord Hybrid! Lord Hybrid! Lord Hybrid!" I'm practically dancing on top of the light fixture.

We're definitely going to be getting into the Elites. The only one who needs to win now is Ellie. I look over to her ring and freeze. She's there all right but she's in hand-to-hand combat with Keira. Ellie's never been very good with hand-to-hand combat. I don't think, I only move.

Another flash and I'm standing right on the outside of the ring. "Ellie! Ellie! Don't hold back! Stop holding back! Think of the ninjas!" I scream over the crowd. I know she hears me when her face suddenly hardens. Suddenly, a giant vine erupts out of the ground wrapping itself around Keira. It slithers around her tightening like a snake. Keira doesn't give up, she's very head-strong.

I watch as Ellie doesn't even bat an eye when Keira starts choking. She just tightens the vines more waiting for the submission. It doesn't come and for thirty seconds I think she's going to kill her when Keira starts banging her hand against the thick vine. Ellie releases her turning to face away from her. I can see the terror on her face as she walks closer to me. The rankers around her are completely silent. No one says a word, so I do, "Lady Terrane! Lady Terrane! Lady Terrane!" The crowd seems to pick up on it.
