Haileys POV ♡

i was so impatient since i wanted to know what Alex was gonna ask me.

the first half of the day was going by so slow and I kept becoming more and more impatient by the minute.

finally it was lunch time. took you long enough.

i entered the lunch room and saw Joey, Desiree, and Alex sitting together in our normal table.

where was diego?

i walked over to our normal table and sat in between joey and Alex.

"Hey where's diego?" I asked.

"oh, he texted me on Instagram saying he was sick and wasn't gonna come for 3 days." Joey answers.

"oh okay, so anyways what were you gonna ask me earlier alex?" I say bringing up the subject.

"Oh right. Do you guys mind if we go to another table?" Alex asks.

"Not at all." Joey says as he smiles as if he knew what was gonna happen.

Alex took my hand into his and found another table that was kinda far from our original one.

We sat down on seats that the table had and we were facing each other.

"So there's gonna be like a prom or high school dance kinda thing and I was wondering if you like.." He stopped as if he was nervous.

"Continue." I say as I smile.

"Okay here goes nothing." He says as he takes a deep breath.

"Do you wanna go to the dance with me?"

"Yes!" I say as I hug him and wrap my legs around his waist.

We pulled apart and turned around. Our friends were taking pictures. We laughed.

We walked back to our original table and sat down.

"So are you guys dating yet?" Desiree and Joey ask.

"not yet but soon." alex winks at them.

"when's the wedding?" Joey says as he smirks at both us.

"shut up Joseph." i say as i laugh.

"Just asking ya know?" Joey laughs.

"Baby shower date?" Desiree asks laughing.

"oh my god you guys." I say as i laugh.

"Are we invited?" Joey asks.

"ahaha duh." i laugh then roll my eyes at Desiree and Joey.

"geez, it's so sad how diego isn't here to experience this." Desiree says.

"yeah i know. poor kid is sick." i say.

"don't worry we can fill him in when he comes back." alex says.

"did you guys forget that there's social media now." Joey rolls his eyes.

"it'll be more special if we tell him in person." i say.

"just saying it's way faster through social media." Joey says.

"yeah but im saying we're not doing it through social media." i say again.

"whatever you say Hailey." Joey says.

-ring!-

"shoot that's the bell. well i guess ill see ya after school." Joey says as he gets up and heads for the door.

as soon as Joey left, everybody from our table started to get up.

i said bye to everybody from our table then hugged alex goodbye.
