We stopped at the side walk and we faced each other.

"I've loved you for a long time, Hailey. I've been looking for the right time to tell you this and I know I've mentioned it before but I'm sure of it now." Alex said as he smiled at me and grabbed my hands softly.

I intertwined my fingers with his.

I looked at our hands and then looked at him again.

"I-I love you too Alex. I always have. Lately, I've been wanting to be more than friends. My feelings for you are just too much for us to just be friends. I honestly can't take our whole "friends with benefits," thing. I want something real with you, Alex."

I let out everything. Everything that was bothering me.

I've been waiting for this moment since forever.

"Hailey, we can make that happen." Alex says with a genuine smile.

"You don't know how much I've been waiting for this. Literally so Lon-..."

"Just shut up and kiss me." Alex says as he pulls me closer to him.

He smiled at me before he pulled me in for a kiss.

We pulled away really quickly since we knew we were in public.

My mom wasn't home which meant I wasn't going to get screamed at, yet.

We entered my house and went up to my room.

"So should we continue?" Alex smirked.

No, we're not going to do it. I'm too young.

He pushed me against my bedroom wall and started kissing me.

Um, I didn't know he was normally like this but I'm not going to complain.

Eventually, the soft kiss turned into a rough one.

I knew that we weren't going to do anything sexual so I just let him kiss me.

I heard a car pull up in the drive way.

I pulled away from Alex to go check.

It was my moms car. She probably went to go run errands with my brother like she always does.

"Alex, my mom is home. Act like we never did anything." I say as I turn my TV on.

We sat far from each other on my bed.

Riverdale was playing on the TV.

I heard the door open.

It was my mom.

"Hey mom." I say.

"So, you got suspended. It's good that you protected yourself but just don't do it again." My mom left my room and I could hear that she was cooking downstairs due to the amount of noise from the pots and the pans.

Alex and I looked at each other strangely.

I'm surprised she didn't get mad at me.

Alex moved closer to me and intertwined his fingers with mine.

I giggled.

"You want to watch one of those ghost shows?" I ask Alex as I smile at him.

"Sure." He says back.

We lay down on my bed.

We grabbed a blanket and put it over us.

As the show started, he gave me a peck on the neck.

"Stop Alex! That tickles!" I say as I laugh.

"If you say so." Alex stops and we turn our attention to the TV screen.

We snuggled up close to each other.
His head was on my chest and he was hugging my waist.
