"So is it a thing now?" Desiree asks.
"Not not yet."
"Aw man. Also, I heard there's a new hottie in town and he's coming to OUR school."
"Ohhh." I say laughing.
"Diegos cute tho." Desiree says.
"Yeah I guess." I say.
"You guess? Um no you KNOW."
"yeah but I'm kinda focused on somebody right now." I smile as I say.
"ANd WHOs ThE LuCkY GuY?" She asks.
"Alex obviously." I say in a duh voice.
"Ahh Hailey just date already." She says impatiently.
"We'll see." I say.
"Hopefully soon! Ugh I gotta take care of my brother, see ya haileyyyy."

Should I ask him or wait for him to ask me? Uh if I ask won't it be a little weird. Um Nahh. I just don't know the right time. Ugh freaking Alex Guzman needs to stop playing and make it official. It's Friday night and I'm so bored.
Why not go to the park? I had to sneak downstairs and be quiet since it was kinda late and my mom probably wouldn't let me go if I asked.

Okay I'm out the door, yesss!
From there I speed walk to the park.
It was kinda full of teens and i saw some people I knew. I find a bench and sit on it and just decide to scroll through Instagram.

I see at the corner of my eye, a boy about my age with hazel/green eyes. He seemed nice and I've never seen him around at the park.
"Hey." I hear him say.
"Oh hi." I say putting my phone away in my back pocket.
"Kinda chilly today, huh?" He said.
I giggled a bit at his statement.
"What's funny?" He says getting a bit closer to me.
"Nothing." I say.
"Oh, so do you wanna grab some ice cream?" He asks.
"Yeah sure, lets go to the one across the street."
"Bet." He says getting up.
We walked to the ice cream shop and ordered.
When we got our ice cream we sat down on a table.
"So I haven't seen you around here?" I ask.
"Oh, I have to move quite a lot since my dad is in the army and he's stationed here." He says.
"Oh, so you're new here?" I ask.
"Yeah and I think I'm going to Westbrook high school." He says.
"No way! Well that's where me and my friends go." I say as I smile.
"Cool!" The boy says.
