I don't own the Bayverse movies or the Transformers Prime TV series, I only own my OC's and the plot
Normal POV
After a brief interaction between Ron and Andy over Ron's car - which was totally not a sentient being, nope - that consisted of the younger of the two asking numerous questions about the GMC Topkick C4500 pickup truck, which Ron answered reluctantly, and the teen suggesting some car care products, the three of them piled into said GMC Topkick and off they went.
It took about half an hour for the smooth asphalt to turn into crunchy gravely under the truck's tires. They had spent most of the ride up to this point in a pleasant silence, each of them lost in their own thoughts, and the crunching of gravel didn't really change it. Andy watched the scenery around her, absentmindedly tugging at her end of the bond.
Before long the car slowed to a stop in front of a quaint looking home. It looked just the right size for a family to live in but still manageable size so that cleaning wasn't a hassle. The outside was painted off-white, with steps leading up to a front porch, on which was a porch swing. Almost as soon as she saw it, Andy knew that she was going to model her future family home after it, or at least use some aspects of it in her future home.
The three of them exited the car, and as soon as Andy set foot outside, a device on her belt began beeping. She dropped her bags and snatched the device out of her belt. Her eyes widened as she stared at the screen. The device displayed a radar of the surrounding 15 miles, several different sized blue spots appearing all over the screen.
"Holy Primus," she muttered as she tucked the little device back into her belt, doing her best to make her words as ununderstandable as possible.
"What?" Will asked, raising a questioning eyebrow at the brown-haired girl.
"Umm nothing, just... a friend.. yeah, a friend texted me," She gulped and smiled nervously.
While Andy might be used to lying to gigantic beings five times her height, making up lies to tell humans was something she didn't have much practice doing.
Tucking the small device back into her belt, she decided to go explore this new found discovery on a later date.
"Alright," Will nodded hesitantly.
A blur of purple and blonde slammed into his legs nearly knocking him over.
"Daddy!" the blur - which turned out to be a maybe two-year-old toddler - screamed at the top of her lungs.
"Hey! There's my little girl!" Will scooped her up in his arms and pressed a kiss to her forehead.
The blonde little girl giggled, throwing her small arms around her father's neck, "I missed you, Daddy."
"I missed you too, angel," Will grinned, pushing her off his chest and into the air.
The little girl laughed as she defied gravity for a brief moment before falling back into her father's arms.
"Again, again!" she cheered.
"Will!" an older blond woman jogged over, a wary smile on her lips, "Stop that! You could drop her!"
"I could but I wouldn't," Will replied cheekily, shifting his daughter to his hip.
Ron and Andy watched the family from the sidelines, both having very different thoughts regarding the scene they were witnessing. Ron rolled his eyes, a little amused by the mother's unnecessary concern while Andy watched with longing. For a long time she had wished for a family - two different kinds, but a family none the less.
For the first seventeen years of her life, she wanted to have parents and siblings and a pretty house for all of them to live in. She wanted to be able to go to a parental figure for advice about dating and life and for a parental figure to care about and protect her. That particular wish was never granted.
Then for the past six years, she had wanted to start her own family with Jackie. Well, she had started to dream of the day the two of them would have their own little house in the middle of nowhere and just be able to be themselves all the time. In more recent fantasies, she had imagined that the two of them had a little sparkling of their own. She hasn't told anyone about these little daydreams but she didn't worry or stress that her dreams wouldn't come true. She knew that it was going to happen someday and that was good enough for her.
The blond woman seemed to notice Andy's presence and turned to her, and extended her hand in a friendly greeting, "Hello, I'm Sarah. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Andy nodded, smiling, and took the older woman's hand in her own and shook it, "The pleasure is all mine. My name is Andy."
Just as she finished introducing herself to Sarah, she felt something slam into her legs, pushing her off balance. Luckily the little girl didn't latch onto her like she had to her father, which allowed her to lean forward and kick off into a handspring. She landed a couple of feet away from the little girl.
Four pairs of eyes stared at her as she brushed her hands off on her pants. Three pairs of those eyes were filled with surprise while one was brimming with awe.
"Couwd you teach ME how to do that?! Pwease!" the little ball of energy begged the older girl, staring at her with puppy eyes.
"Uhhh.. maybe... I mean if your car-mother is alright with it." Andy looked warily at the young girl who barely reached her knees, mentally cursing herself for almost slipping up.
"Can she Mommy? Pwease?" the little girl turned her attention to her mother, causing Andy to sigh in relief.
"Sure sweetie, but only if you promise to be safe." Sarah nodded to the two of them, a little wary too.
"Don't worry Mrs.Lennox, I'm not going to let anything happen to your spa-child." Slag it, she was so used to using Cybertronian terms that she forgot about the human ones!
Will and Ron raised an eyebrow at her, the later narrowing his eyes.
She cleared her throat and cast her eyes down at the child in question, "Anyway, I don't believe I know this little one's name yet." she thanked Primus she had remembered to use 'name' instead of 'designation'.
"I'm Annabewwe!" the little girl, now identified as Annabelle, chirped happily, "And I'm your new little sister."
It was then that it fully hit her. This family was now legally considered to be HER family. Will was legally her father. Sarah was legally her mother. Annabelle was legally her younger sister.
Holy frag.
Primus finally granted her one of her wishes. She was adopted.
Tears welled ups in her eyes as she crouched in front of Annabelle, "I'm honored to be sister Annabelle."
She has another family that she had known much longer and had deeper connections with but this was her opportunity to know. To know what it was like to be a normal teenage girl with a normal human family.
And Primus damn her to the pits if she didn't take advantage of it.
