At the end of the day, Teddy walked Victoire down to the Leaky Cauldron. She would be travelling home by Floo Powder and Teddy would be meeting his Nana there. She told him stories about France and he told her stories about his band.
"Jorah plays the drums, Kent does lead vocals and I'm the lead guitarist." Teddy explained, proudly.
"No way, you play guitar, that's cool" Victoire exclaimed excitedly.
"I guess so" Teddy agreed grinning sheepishly and blushing a bit.
"Can you play for me sometime?" Victoire asked him genuinely.
"Hell yes. I'll give you a private concert of all of Celestina Warbeck's songs back to back."
Teddy said, grinning as they walked through the door of the inn. Victoire shoved him playfully.
"Excuse you, young lady," an old witch bellowed at her, "would you mind not shoving my grandson?".
"It's okay Nana," Teddy assured her, "this is Victoire Weasley. Who I'm working with."
"Oh I apologise. Hello Victoire, I'm Andromeda."
"It's Vic, actually." Victoire explained.
"Teddy, shall we go?" The witch said, clearly not hearing Victoire and looking towards the barman of the Leaky Cauldron.
"Well Bonsoir, Victor." Teddy said, mocking a curtsy.
"Goodbye Edwina," Victoire retaliated through laughter.
Teddy stood back and watched her leave through the grand fireplace. He watched her pale hair flick out of sight.
When he went home, he got out his mums old record player. She had quite a few records, and he began to duplicate his favourite songs off them, through a magical extraction charm, and placed them onto a blank record. There were a mixture of Muggle and Wizard songs, and just for a laugh, he placed a Cauldron Full of Hot Strong Love on the end. He placed the record in its jacket and set it on his desk, when he heard his grandmother calling from downstairs.
He bounded down the flight of stairs to see his owl, Brain, perched on his grandmother's arm with a small piece of parchment in her beak. He took it and read it:
"Dear Teddy
Congratulations on your first day of work! I know it's not fun, but the galleons will be worth it. Ginny has cooked some Albanian chicken and wants to know if you'll join us for dinner. Bring your grandmother too, if she wishes.
All the best
Harry Potter"

Teddy arrived by broom at the Potter's house alone. His Nana wanted to stay in the peace and quiet of her house. At the door, he was greeted by a hug around the legs from Lily. Teddy was her favourite, as he would often transform his face into various farm animals for her entertainment.
"Mum, Ted's here!!" Lily yelled.
"Okay Lily we don't want the whole street to know." Ginny said, approaching the front door and beaming at Teddy.
Teddy was ushered inside and given a seat between James and Albus.
"So, how's working life?" Harry asked him between forkfuls of chicken.
"Doesn't feel much like work yet really," Teddy answered.
"Well having George as a boss, I doubt it ever will feel much like work. Who else has started?" Harry asked again.
"Oh, um, Victoire started today too."
"Teddy your face is going all red!!" James squealed with laughter.
Teddy focused his mind on returning his skin colour to normal, hoping his morphing ability wouldn't fail him now.
"And how's that been?" Harry asked, eyebrows raised with a cheeky grin.
"Oh shush you," Teddy joked back with him, "I hardly know her."
"Oh she's lovely," Ginny crooned, "hardly anything like Fleur." Teddy laughed again in spite of himself.
"You just watch out for Bill, he'll sort you out," Harry warned jokingly before Ginny set him right,
"Oh please, Bill is about as intimidating as a flobberworm."

It was Friday evening, meaning Teddy wouldn't see Vic again for a few days. Yet it was all he could do to keep her laughing face at the back of his mind. He had an odd sort of craving to make her laugh, or to laugh at her. He hadn't imagined she'd be so opinionated and self sure. And he felt like prey on the horns of her confidence. And he loved every second of it.
