One Saturday morning at the beginning of August, Kent showed up at Teddy's house.
He came thundering up the stairs and shook Teddy's sleeping body until he was awake.
"I got us tickets!!!!" He roared.
"Tickets to what?" Teddy mumbled dismissively, eyes still closed.
"The Weird Sisters concert next week!!!" Kent continued to roar.
"Sod off, it's sold out, I'm not falling for that again," Teddy said before rolling over again.
"No! My dad met the bass player in the Leaky Cauldron and figured out that he used to be friends with his dad. And dad told him about us wanting to go and he gave us 4 free tickets." Kent was practically at banshee noise level.
Teddy sat bolt upright.
"You're serious?"
"Do I look serious?"
Teddy studied his dark skinned face which seemed genuinely excited.
"Merlin's balls," he exclaimed before jumping out of bed.
"I'm not sure who we should give the fourth ticket to though," Kent pondered.
"Hey, I have an idea of who might like it..."

"Dominique, do I look okay?" Victoire asked her sister, pondering her outfit. She was wearing her black boots, ripped jeans and her Weird Sisters top she bought two weeks earlier. Her long hair was pulled back by two braids and falling free and wavy down her back. "You look hideous as usual Vic," Dominique smirked at her. Her parents had been reluctant to let her go at first, but George managed to convince Bill it was the kind of thing he would have done as a teenager.
"Just don't do anything I wouldn't do," he warned Victoire, trying to sound strict and paternal.
"So I won't come home with any unauthorised piercings then," Victoire said with a mischievous grin.
"Be careful!" Bill said with a laugh.
They got to the venue by port key. And Victoire was amazed by what she saw.
There were tents pitched all around the grounds. These tents had various things decorating them such as Christmas lights or they had been splattered by spray paint. All the people around her were wearing dragon skin and ripped clothing and rings of eyeliner around their dilated eyes.
"Teddy, look..." Victoire said, pointing to a group of wizards who appeared to be chain smoking a cigarette.
She grabbed Teddy's arm, feeling out of place.
Teddy introduced her to Kent and Jorah as a "family friend". Kent was tall and lanky, like Teddy but his hair was pitch black and his skin was dark brown. He had a spike in his left ear. Jorah was also very tall, but had extreme muscles, making Teddy, Kent and herself look like toothpicks beside him. He looked intimidating, but when he spoke he was a very quiet spoken boy.
Then the band went onstage, there was a wave of screams and when they began to play, Victoire felt all sense of self apprehension melt away.

Teddy was mesmerised by her dancing. She looked like she was immersed in the atmosphere and the moment. Her hair swayed back and forward with her smooth movements. The odd time she would grab his hands and raise them in the air before pulling them back and forth like the wheels of a train.
"Do the Hippogriff" brought the house down and when the song finished, Teddy leant into Victoire, leaning his forehead against hers, feeling the slight perspiration and taking a dive into the pools of blue that were her eyes. He felt her breath on his cheek, warm and seething pure life. She grinned at him. He couldn't think of anything else at that moment, he didn't want to break it. Just her embrace was enough.
Any part of her was enough.
