Reason 15:
The young memories.I remember the memory like it was yesterday.
We used to walk the same way after school, me walking in front of you in my favorite ankle boots.
Then you started commenting on how I walked so fast. Then it became a friendly competition.
I remember laughing and complaining at my shoe disadvantage, you retorting in our banter.
It was the highlight of my days. I had never felt so happy in those runs down the school sidewalk as cheesy as it sounds. And it was a plus that I won most of our races.
Those small memories together was what really made me like you, like we somehow became closer in thought.
Those times were something I cherished for so long. I used to hope you thought the same.
Now I tell myself the truth. And the truth was, you didn't.
