Shadow and Rouge's thirty days together (ON HOLD)

Day 4: A Boat Trip

Rouge and Shadow decided to go on a boat trip for their fourth day together; Rouge and Shadow didn’t know much about boats just that you can use them as transport and fishing. But this boat was a cruise, Rouge loved cruises Shadow had never been on a cruise, so he was looking forward to it because he was spending it with Rouge.

Something had happened the night before, Shadow and Rouge was very happy with themselves with what happened last night. Rouge and Shadow boarded the cruise and it was very clean, shiny and big they had it all to themselves. Rouge looked into Shadow’s red eyes and said “Can’t believe this cruise ship is all ours, we can do whatever we want on here” she said giggling. Shadow smirked and nodded his head, Rouge felt very sick and felt like she was going to throw up, she ran to the deck, she felt very sea sick of course she thought it was.

Shadow ran to her and asked her if she was ok, holding her hand “Whoa, Rouge are you ok? You don’t seem yourself at all” Rouge looked at him saying she was fine that it was just sea sickness but they both knew that there something more than that. Rouge went to the room that they were staying in, Shadow stayed on the deck to check it out some more; Rouge grabbed her bag and looked at the date she gasped and started panicking, she looked into the mirror looking at her belly. She knew that she wasn’t feeling well was just more than sea sickness; she was thinking in her head “No... This can’t be right can it? The only way I’m going to know is if I take a test. But do they sell pregnancy tests? They should do at the desk, I’ll ask them then I can find out, I don’t know how Shadow is going to react...” She knew that she had to tell him, but how? That was the tricky bit.

Rouge went down to the front desk and asked them if they did pregnancy tests and she was surprised to know that they did, so she bought one. She saw Shadow and quickly hide the test in her bag, Shadow said to her “Hey um why don’t we order some room service and get some privacy?” he was smiling at her with such excitement but Rouge knew as lovely as that sounded she wanted to get this test over and done with, to see if she was pregnant or not. She said to Shadow “Um Shadow... as lovely as that sounds, I need to do something first on my own, it’s really important” Shadow looked at her curiously thinking what was wrong but he nodded and she went back to the room to find out the truth.

Rouge got to the room and she went and took the test, she had to wait for a few minutes for it to kick in, Rouge was worried but also excited, she has always thought what she would be like as a mother. She heard a ding and it was the timer it stopped, she knew it was the moment of truth, she looked at the test and it was positive. She was shocked by it and was trying to think of a way to tell Shadow but she didn’t know how he would react to her unexpected surprise. Shadow came into the room and he saw Rouge holding the test, she panicked he looked at her giving her that look to explain; he said shocked “Is that what I think it is?” Rouge looked at him and said “Yes it is” looking down at the floor as she said it. Shadow took a gulp “Well? What does it say? Feeling very worried.

 Rouge sat on the bed and said in a calm voice “Shadow... You’re going to be a father...” she said smiling waiting for him to respond to her, Shadow walked up to her and hugged her tightly and spun her around, he couldn’t  be happier, he was going to become a father. He whispered in her ear “Everything is perfect now” he said with tears in his eyes.
