Shadow and Rouge's thirty days together (ON HOLD)

Day 8: Shopping Trip

Rouge very excited about today because they were going to go baby clothes shopping for the baby, Rouge loved clothes shopping but Shadow didn’t really like it because he thought that it was a waste of time and took too long, he’s meaning that Rouge takes too long with clothes in the changing rooms. Shadow was already wake and dressed, ready to go so he thought that Rouge would take a long time to get changed but he was surprised to see her dressed and ready to go already “Wow, ready already? That’s a first for you and your best time yet” he smirked.

Rouge turned and said with a frown on her face “Oh ha ha, very funny. Come on let’s go already I wanna get there early to look at all the baby clothes before anybody else does” she said smiling with her sparkling green eyes. Shadow looked at Rouge smiling while shaking his head “Humph! God! I hate shopping; it’s so pointless and useless” he said in a serious voice. Rouge looked at him and shook her head, she took his hand and they left the house.

They got to the shopping centre and it was huge, they didn’t know where to start first; Rouge took Shadow to the baby clothes shop that she always passes. Rouge dragged Shadow around the shop and said “Rouge we don’t even know the sex of the baby yet, so we don’t even know what colour clothes to buy” he said with he’s arms folded. Rouge turned and said “Well... we will just have to buy both then won’t we? Hehe” Shadow just stood there and looked at her, smirking at her. Rouge all kinds of baby clothes both girl and boy, Shadow couldn’t believe how much baby clothes she had bought and he had to carry them all.

They went and sat down on a bench to have lunch, Rouge was about to sit down when she nearly toppled over, Shadow grabbed her “Whoa, Rouge you ok? Don’t worry I’ve got you, just take it slow ok? I think you might have over done it a bit” he said making sure she was ok, He handed her a glass of water; she tool it and drank it “Thank you Shadow, and I think you might be right and I’m ok now stop fusing honestly” as soon as she said that she was hoping her and her baby was ok. Shadow knew she wasn’t ok, she was just trying to put a brave face on and he understood that but he worried about her a lot because he loved her very much and didn’t want to lose her or the baby.

Shadow took Rouge home so that she could get some rest, he walked her to the door and she wanted him to stay the night; Course he was going to stay the night he wasn’t going to leave her on her own, not after what happened today. Rouge and Shadow went inside and sat on the sofa, Shadow went and got them a cup of tea, and he went to the kitchen and came back through with the drinks; Rouge sips her drink and put it back on the table, she then rested her head on Shadow, he smiled. Rouge felt a kick from the baby and shot up straight “Whoa” she said holding her stomach, Shadow looked at her worried and said “Rouge?... what’s wrong? He grabbed her hand; Rouge took it and said “This” with a smile, placing his hand on her stomach, the baby kicked her again and Shadow looked at her smiling and smirking, they both smiled and hugging her and kissing her.  Shadow was holding her close and said to the bump “Giving your mum trouble huh? Heh, that’s my girl” he chuckled, Rouge just smiled as in to say she knows that it’s a girl; she has Shadow’s attitude she thought to herself. Rouge and Shadow looked into each other’s eyes and thought about their future together.
