Shadow and Rouge's thirty days together (ON HOLD)

Day 6: Love Triangle

Shadow and Rouge had plans for today but they drop them to help their friend out because he had just broken up with his girlfriend and Rouge wanted to cheer him up, Shadow and Rouge were getting changed before their friend came. Shadow said to Rouge with a sigh “Do I have to talk to that faker? Why do we have to be the ones to help him, he won’t listen to us anyway, he will just do what he wants like he always does” He said. Rouge turned to him “Shadow... he’s our friend and I think we should help him, he’s always been there for us when something has been wrong between us, and Sonic’s always been the one to help us now it’s our turn ok?” she said with a smile, Shadow gritted his teeth together and said “Fine but I’m not doing this for him, I’m doing this for you, My Love” he held her hand. Rouge smiled and said “Thank you Shadow” She kissed him.

Shadow and Rouge heard the doorbell go; Shadow came down the stairs and answered the door “Sonic... Come in” he said taking his coat, Sonic was looking really down but he greeted Shadow “Hey Shadow... Long time no see huh...” Sonic went and sat down on the sofa, Rouge came down the stairs and went over to Sonic and hugged him “Hey Sonic, I’m so sorry to hear about you and Amy, You were both perfect together, How have you been coping? She said worrying about his welfare. Shadow went into the kitchen to get everyone a drink, he came back and gave them their drinks; Sonic told them how he was coping “Well to tell you the truth, not very well, every girl I see just reminds me of Amy” he started to cry. Rouge didn’t know what to say so she got up and went and got him a tissue; leaving him with Shadow.

Shadow didn’t know what to do or say, Rouge came back and gave him a tissue. She turned to Shadow and said “Shadow I’m feeling a bit tired, so I’m going to get some sleep and leave you boys to it” She yawned. Shadow took Rouge upstairs to make sure that she was ok and he looked at her and said “Rouge... what I’m I suppose to do, you know I’m not a hugger or someone to listen to other people’s problems; I’m not like that” he said to her. Rouge gave him her look and he just looked at her and said “Fine ok, I’ll do it” she smiled cause she knew all she had to do was give him the look and she gets everything she wants. Shadow went back down stairs and could hear Sonic crying, Shadow crossed his arms and said “Why are you crying faker?” Sonic just looked at him and continued to cry. Shadow rolled his eyes and went and sat next to Sonic on the sofa “Look Sonic, the thing you gotta understand is that there’s plenty more fish in the sea and if Amy can’t see you for who you are then you don’t need her; all that matters is your friends are here to support you, no matter what and that’s the truth” He said.

  Shadow couldn’t believe what he just said, it made him feel weird because he felt very strange inside at this moment, Sonic gave him a little smile, and Shadow and Sonic looked at each other and felt this very strange feeling from each other. Sonic went in slowly and kissed him, Shadow’s eyes widened, he couldn’t believe what Sonic was doing; Shadow pulled away quickly and said “What the hell Sonic?! Why... why did you do that?!” Shadow was taken back a bit by what Sonic just did; he waited for Sonic to reply to him. Sonic was panicking “Well I-, because I like you Shadow and I’ve always have done, I thought you felt the same for me” he said curiously. Shadow snapped at him “WHAT?! YOU?! Hehe, well you thought wrong, when you kissed me I felt nothing! And I never will do, I love Rouge always will do. Sonic you are not to tell anyone about what happened here, do you understand me? Rouge can never find out” he said panicking. Sonic was so confused but he agreed not to say anything and keep it to their selves.

 Shadow said to Sonic “I think you should just go Sonic ok? I need some time alone and I need to think” Sonic knew that he shouldn’t of kissed Shadow but he felt like it was right but Sonic did what Shadow asked him to. Shadow closed the door on Sonic and dropped to his knees, thinking in his head “What have I done?! I shouldn’t have let him do that and I know I didn’t feel anything from it, I’m with Rouge she’s having my baby for god sake!” He kept telling his self that and trying to brush it off but he knew far too well that he did feel something more for Sonic than being his friend...
