Day 16: Regret

Shadow decided that enough was enough; He couldn’t fight his feelings for Sonic any longer. So he thought to his self that he needed to tell Sonic the truth about how he felt about him, Shadow did say to him that he felt nothing but he did feel something for him and he also said that he didn’t want to see him again but he thought ‘screw what I said, I need to see him and tell him how I feel about him or I might never get the chance to’ he thought to himself.

Shadow raced to Sonic’s house, he took a deep breath in and knocked on the door. Sonic heard the knock and went and answered it, there he saw the person he loved and he couldn’t believe that he was there right on his doorstep “S-shadow? What are you doing here? I thought that you didn’t want to see me again after what happened...” Sonic said in shock. Shadow looked Sonic up and down and just went for it, he kissed Sonic; Sonic’s eyes widened and he kissed Shadow back and wrapped his hands around his neck and they were kissing passionately. Sonic broke the kiss and was happy but confused by why Shadow kissed him, sonic spoke “Shadow... wow uh just want to know one thing... why did you kiss me? I thought that you didn’t feel the same way I did for you” Shadow smirked “Well to tell you the truth faker... I do like you and I did feel something for you when you kissed me, I just didn’t want to admit it to you or myself... and I love you Sonic” Sonic couldn’t believe his ears.

Sonic blushed and smiled, he took Shadow’s hand “Come on let’s take this upstairs” he whispered in his ear in a sexy voice. Shadow smirked and he and Sonic went upstairs hand in hand, an hour had passed and Sonic and Shadow’s fur was very messy; they were both very happy with each other “Wow Shadow, that was amazing and I never knew you felt that way about me hehe” Sonic said with a smile on his face lying next to Shadow. Shadow chuckled and kissed Sonic on the lips, they heard the door open; Shadow looked at Sonic and they panicked because they both realised that is was Saph. The hedgehogs got out of bed and Sonic tried to get Shadow out without Saph seeing but she saw them both come down the stairs “Uh what do you two think you are doing? And why did you both come from upstairs? Oh...My...God! You both didn’t... You did! What the Hell!” Sonic and Shadow couldn’t explain their selves to Saph because she had already guessed what they had done and she wasn’t happy. She was furious with Shadow more than Sonic because Shadow was with her best friend and he went and cheated on her with her brother, she just couldn’t get that in her head.

Sapphire picked up Shadow by the scruff of the neck and pinned him against a wall “Shadow! How could you?! Cheat on Rouge?! She gives you everything! And you know what the worst thing about this is? Is that you slept with my brother! What the hell! I-I can’t even begin to think...” she said in anger. Sonic was looking at her trying to get her to let go of Shadow, she let go of him and then she slapped him across the face. Shadow felt the sting of her slap while he was holding his cheek; he smirk then said “Heh, Well I guess I deserved that” Sonic ran to Shadow making sure he was ok “Shadow are you ok? He said worried. Sapphire just rolled her eyes at them and said to Sonic “Bro, Can I have a word with you? Please? In the other room” they both went into the other room, Sapphire looked her brother in shock and anger she couldn’t believe what her brother had done with Shadow “Why Sonic? Why?! Are you out of your mind?! This is low even for you and with him?! I bet he pushed you into this” she said.

Sonic turned to her holding her hands “Sis, he didn’t make me do anything or push me into anything I didn’t want to do, I know you are just trying to protect me and thank you sis, I’m grateful but don’t worry about me ok? I can look after myself. Heh you would think this was the other way around” he hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead, Saph smiled and said “Just be careful ok? And if he hurts you he will have me to deal with me, I just don’t want to see you hurt like I’ve been and believe me I know and it hurts” Sonic nodded and hugged her again. They went into the other room, Sapphire didn’t say anything to Shadow and he said goodbye to Sonic and left the house; Shadow was walking home and was thinking “I can’t help but feel somewhat regret to what I have just done to Rouge” A tear came down his face and what he did was all he could think about.
