Shadow and Rouge's thirty days together (ON HOLD)

Day 10: Watching a Movie

Shadow and Rouge didn’t know what to do today, both of their heads were all over the place; they didn’t know what to do with their selves. Shadow went to hug Rouge when she pushed him away not wanting his hug because she knew that she would start to cry again “Shadow... just... don’t touch me please ok?” Shadow looked at her and nodded and decided to give her some space, Shadow thought that he would go upstairs and get some rest because he was tried.

After a while Shadow woke up from his nap, he was hoping that Rouge was ok. Went down stairs to check on her he saw that she was curled up on the sofa thinking about what does the future hold for them. Shadow asked her “Something on your mind Rouge?” he asked her curiously, he sat on the sofa next to her, Rouge turned to face him letting out a sigh “Shadow what does the future hold for us huh? Nothing because I can’t even give you a family of your own and-“Shadow cut her sentence short with a kiss. He looked at her hold her hand “Rouge listen, No matter what happens between us, I will always love you and I will never leave you, we will find another way around this, there’s always another way, I promise, I love you” he told her knowing he was right in what he was saying.

Shadow and Rouge decided to watch Frozen because that was the film that Rouge loved at the moment and she knew all the words to the songs especially let it go, which was her favourite song. Shadow didn’t really like the songs or singing, he just loved to hear Rouge sing the songs, they had popcorn and drinks between them sharing their food and drink. When it got to let it go, Rouge sat up and started singing.

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight

Not a footprint to be seen

A kingdom of isolation and it looks like I’m the queen

Shadow got up and clapped her because her performance was amazing and beautiful, he smiled at her hugging her tightly close to him kissing her forehead, and Shadow knew she had another hidden talent singing. Rouge blushed with shyness towards Shadow because of his comments, she never got told anything like that in her entire life, she felt loved and confident to know that Shadow loved her singing and thought that it was beautiful, the same as her. She kissed him whispering in his ear “Never let me go and let’s stay like this forever” He smiled and hugging her close to him.
