Shadow and Rouge's thirty days together (ON HOLD)

Day 3: The Argument

Rouge was going to see Knuckles today because they were good friends and they hadn’t had a catch up in ages, so she went to go and see him at a cafe, but Rouge didn’t tell Shadow this because she knew that he would kick off at her and also he didn’t like Knuckles very much because he has always thought that he would steal his girl but Knuckles isn’t like that, he likes Rouge as a friend.

Rouge went and sat down at the table with Knuckles and she gave him a hug, they started to catch up on all the things they had missed over the years, they talked for a while. Rouge looked at her phone and saw she had 5 miss calls and 3 messages from Shadow, Rouge started to worry that something had happened, so she said bye to Knuckles and she hoped they could do this again sometime.

When Rouge got home, she didn’t know that Shadow was sat there as she turned she jumped nearly out of her skin “Whoa, Jesus! Shadow... you scared the hell out of me?!” she said holding her chest and feeling a bit shaken. Shadow looked at her and said “Where were you Rouge?! I left you 3 messages, I was worried about you, and I thought that something had happened to you” he said caring for her welfare. Rouge looked at him feeling like she was in trouble with him for no reason because she knew that he would ask her that. “I was just out with a friend Shadow jeez...” she said like she was annoyed with him for asking her all these question for no reason what so ever.

Shadow felt like he had been lied to; he asked her who this “friend” was. “So who were you with and don’t lie to me” he said in a serious voice, Rouge tried to explain herself but before she was about to say who it was Shadow said “Was it Knuckles?” he said as he could feel he’s blood boil. Rouge looked at him and said “Heh, Yes it was, have you got a problem with that?!” she said angrily, Shadow couldn’t believe that Rouge had gone to meet that sleaze ball, Shadow hated Knuckles because he thought he was too cocky for his own good and a bad influence on Rouge.

Shadow turned to her and said angrily “Humph! Why Rouge, Why?! You know I hate that guy! He’s a Douche Bag and he’s always trying to win you over or take you away from me!” he said. Rouge couldn’t believe her ears, “Shadow! Heh, Really?! This coming from the Ultimate Life Form! Your pathetic, you know that, there is nothing going on between me and Knuckles ok?! We are just friends, I love you, you idiot! Not him! I knew you would be like this; this is why I didn’t tell you because I knew you would react like this! Shadow... Look at me, nothing happened ok? You can trust me. Like I told you before even if you think the whole world is against you, I’ll always remain by your said. Remember that, I will never leave you” she said.

Rouge grabbed Shadow and kissed him as a tear came down her face, Shadow said wiping her tear “Rouge...I-I’m sorry, I shouldn’t of shouted at you and please don’t cry and yes I do remember what you said. I love you” He hugged her tightly, Rouge smiled and layed her face into his snowy white fur on his chest.
