"So what do you think?" Melina slipped the hard drive back into her pocket after showing Simon.

"And you wrote this with who?"

"Brandon" Melina gestured to him.

Simon sat there his hand on his chin. He shrugged nodding, "in a couple of days my team will have promotion for it everywhere and the song will be released shortly after, if it gets enough recognition then you'll be able to do a music video".

Melina jumped up in her seat a long with Brandon.

"Yes!!" She threw her fist in the air running around the room.

Brandon opened his arms waiting for her to hug him. She ran over to him almost knocking him down from the impact.

He had his arms fully wrapped around her his head on hers. Smiling brightly for her.

She pulled away with the biggest smile on her face. She pulled him in again tucking her head in his chest, "thank you so much B" she whispered into his chest.

"No problem Mel" He rubbed her back grinning.

This was the longest they'd ever hug, and only time he would be able to hug her when Nick wasn't around. He was liking this moment a lot not wanting it to end, not one bit.

But sadly things don't go the way you want it to. She pulled away grabbing her phone from her pocket, "I have to tell Nick".

The smile quickly faded from Brandon's face. It was absolutely killing him inside. He just wanted to kiss her every time he saw her but he couldn't. She was with Nick. She wasn't his, she wouldn't feel the same, she wouldn't do that to Nick.

He sat down back at the meeting table next to Simon letting out a sigh.

Simon looked over at Brandon with an eyebrow raised, "what's wrong with you?".

"I'm single that's the problem"

"It's good being single, also good for business, stay single"

"What if I'm..in love?"

Simon stared at Brandon for a bit then bursting into laughter, "didn't you say that with Charlotte".

"But this girl isn't Charlotte"

"Let me guess this girl goes by the name Melina" Simon smirked.

"How in the world does everyone know?" Brandon slumped down in his chair.

"They way you look at her, it's obvious, especially the look of jealousy on your face when she's around Nick or even mentions Nick, she's oblivious though"

"She is" Brandon mumbled.

"So make her not oblivious" Simon shrugged.

Brandon looked up at Simon confused what exactly he meant by that.

"What do you mean?"

"Tell her"

"But she's with Nick, isn't that the one thing I shouldn't do?"

"If it's to the point that you think you really do love her, you can't keep those emotions bottled up forever" Simon explained.

Brandon knew he was right, well he was Simon Cowell basically anything he said was right. Simon set down his pen standing up from his seat.

"I have some more work to do but try and figure something out, I know you will"

Brandon watched Simon walk away seeing Melina on the phone with the biggest smile on her face. She kissed towards the phone and hung up.

"Nicks super excited" Melina stuffed her phone in the back of her pocket talking to Brandon.

"That's good he should be.." Brandon sat up straight moving from his slumped position.

"Yeah..okay lets go to your place I wanna tell the rest of the boys in person"
