"Wait..before you answer..let me take you somewhere" Brandon stopped her.
She was shocked and in a lost for words.
He looked at his watch,"it's 9 right now..at midnight you give me your answer but for now we're just friends, if you decide otherwise you tell me at midnight".
Melina thought about it for a second but nodded agreeing.
He helped her up Melina grabbing his hand. He looked around for Nick but he was no where to be found. He lead her to his car opening the door for her then running to the other side to drive.
Melina stayed quiet not really sure what to say.
"Hey, for now we're friends, when it's 12 then you tell me whatever you want to but for now..treat me like the Brandon who hadn't confessed his feelings to you, treat me like the Brandon that's your best friend" He said not really making eye contact, Melina just stared at the side of his head contemplating everything.
"The drive to where I wanna take you is actually an hour away, so" He unlocked his phone handing it to Melina, "any throwbacks you wanna put on?" He smirked stopping at a red light.
Melina smiled with him grabbing the phone causing him to chuckle.

"THEY COME HERE IN 15 MINUTES AUSTIN HURRY" Kristen was yelling while Austin did the hard work, he had walked a mile or so to get the picnic table to the spot where it was now.
They couldn't find a truck so a picnic table had to do.
The whole place looked magical since Kristen had added some more to the place including fairy lights hanging from the trees and above the picnic area. And below layed a blanket with comfy pillows and many different types of candies that Melina loved.
While Austin had only done one thing but he had a lot left which was to put the drape over the table and set up the food. Brandon had wanted it to be casual and not some fancy thing. He bought pizza, burgers and hotdogs with some Mountain Dew which was Melinas favorite. He even got some cupcakes for her.
"I'm so hungry" Austin eyed the food that he had just finished setting up.
"don't" Kristen pointed at him giving him the death glare.
"He wouldn't notice if-" Austin was reaching towards the hotdogs but his hand was slapped away.
"This has to be perfect, and your sticky fingers gonna ruin the Belina date"
Austin rolled his eyes walking back to get the rest of the decorations. He felt a vibration in his pocket taking his phone out while he fixed the decorations.
Austin read the text freaking out.
"What happened?" Kristen looked at him like he was crazy.
"They're coming! c'mon c'mon!" He jumped up and down while running to the car. He eyed the date area, it was beautiful, Melina was sure to love it.
Kristen followed running to the car, swinging the door open and hoping in. Austin didn't waste anytime backing out rushing towards the spot Brandon told the to be in the remainder of the time.
"I'm so excited I'm so excited I'm so excited!" Kristen jumped up and down in her seat with the biggest smile on her face.
"I hope she likes it"
"I hope they kiss" Kristen wiggled her eyebrows.
