Assassination Classroom: Chapter 32
---------------------------------------We arrived at the inn, and Korosensei lazily flopped himself on the couch. "So he gets all sick and groggy on bullet trains and buses?" I heard Mimura ask as I saw Nagisa scribble some things down onto his notepad. Fuwa, Kataoka and Isogai all tried killing him by plunging their blades at him while he was flopped down. "Are you alright? Why don't you lie down in your room?" Fuwa asked as she tried to stab him. "Don't worry about me. Besides, I'll have to pop back to Tokyo in a bit." Korosensei responded as he kept dodging their blades. "Huh?" Fuwa beckoned. "I left my pillow back at home." He responded, still dodging their blades. "All that luggage and you still forgot something?!" Mimura yelled, looking at Korosensei's huge bag. I was sitting next to Kanzaki and Kayano. "Did you find the itinerary, Kanzaki-san?" Kayano asked and Kanzaki skimmed through her bag. Korosensei spoke up, "Never fear, Kanzaki, so long as you keep one of my tour guide books with you, you'll be fine!" "The whole reason for creating an itinerary was to avoid keeping those..." Mimura added. "I know I put it in here, somewhere..."
I was skipping around with the tour group I'd been offered to join, looking for places to start. "Nagisa-kun, this might be a good assassination spot." Karma said, looking up from the map. "This is one weird school trip..." Kayano said after Nagisa asked if the snipers could see us from there. "You bet it is, but it's fun." Nagisa answered. I looked around and started begging them to go with me and check out a ramen cafe I'd just seen. "We might later, Koi-chan!" Kayano said, trying to keep me happy. "Upuu..." I sighed. "We can't come to Kyoto and NOT get some green-tea warabimochi!" Kayano yelled, in contrast to my pleading. "Then why don't we put some poison in them?" Okuda asked. "What?! Why?!" Kayano asked as she jumped up and I hid behind her, earning a pat on the head from Karma and a chuckle from Nagisa. "Korosensei has a major sweet tooth!" Okuda said with a smile. "Nice! Use the local specialty to send him to a local cemetery!" Karma laughed. "What a waste of perfectly good warabimochi!" Kayano yelled, which caused me to yell, "Yeah! AND WE ARE GOING TO THE RAMEN PLACE LATER." I demanded. Karma sighed, "I'm not against that! Ask Nagisa." He said as he pointed to Nagisa. Nagisa nodded, "Okay, but later." I sighed and agreed. "If only there were a poison that actually worked on him..." Kanzaki started thinking. Sugino stretched, "I wish we could just forget about assassination on this trip and relax, y'know? I mean, look at these sights. What do any of them have to do with assassination?" "You'd be surprised." Nagisa added to Sugino's statement.
We came to a stop, and saw a stone with a name carved into it, indicating it was the death place of someone famous. "Sakamoto Ryouma... you mean-" Kanzaki was interrupted. "Yeah, this was the location of Omiya, the inn where Sakamoto was assassinated in 1867." Karma said. "If you walk a little further, you'll reach Honnouji Temple, though it's location's shifted a little overtime." Nagisa said. "Oh, right. Oda Nobunaga's death was a kind of assassination, too." Kayano added. "Some pretty big-name assassinations occurred just a kilometer from here." I added onto their conversation. "This city's always been a big part of Japan- and as it turns out, it's also the mecca of assassinations." Nagisa said. "I get it." Sugino sighed. "Now that you mention it, this place is a real good place for assassins."
"Next up is Yasaka Shrine." Okuda said, excitedly. "Yep!" I responded. "Oh, come on. Let's take a rest." Sugino persisted. "I want some sugary Kyoto coffee." Karma added. "Yeah, let's have some!" Kayano said as she fist-pumped. I stretched. "Finally... and... uheh.. What's coffee?" I asked, earning a shocking "WHAT?" from the entire group. "I-I've never heard of it, heh." On hearing my words, Karma grabbed my shoulder, leaned down, and whispered. "We'll have to get you some next time we stop." I blushed and waved him away. "Alright, alright." I laughed. Nagisa turned back at Karma and I, looking disappointed.
"Wow, Gion is practically deserted on this far side!" I exclaimed, as we entered an alleyway. "Yeah, with all these places that turn away newcomers. Not many people come to just wander around, and you don't need a nice, obstructed view. That's why, it was at the top of my list. It's perfect for an assassination." Kanzaki said. "Nice one, Kanzaki-chan! You've really done your homework! This is where we'll do the deed!" Kayano exclaimed. "Awesome, Zaki-sama!" I concluded and smiled. "'Perfect' is right," I heard someone add onto our conversation, an unfamiliar voice. "So why're ya walkin' around a place that's ripe for kidnappin'?" Three men on both sides of our group. One from behind, the others in front... Trapped.
