I fake a smile

So people know I'm okay

But sometimes

I'm not

But I don't want you to worry

So I fake my smiles

To hide my pain

But sometimes

It's hard to even fake it

And people can see

This pain

Even if I'm not smiling

If I'm just there

I bet they see it in my eyes

I would understand that

And I know I'll get through it

So don't worry

When you see my pain

It's all old news

The reason you see
