Andy and Clint had been avoiding the other because they couldn't stand looking at each other.
The team hated that they had to walk on eggshells whenever they had to talk about the other with them in the room. With tracking Alex, it wasn't easy.
Clint and Natasha had made up and was working really hard on finding Alex to just put an end to all of this bullshit.
Bucky had returned back to normal and had apologized a million times to Tony. He was pissed at Bucky but he eventually came around and forgave him because it wasn't Bucky that shot him.
Andy was slowly recovering from her injuries. She was very impatient and wanted to get out of the hospital bed so she decided to go on some slow walks everyday while being monitored by Bruce. They grew close while she was in recovery because he was the only doctor who was overseeing her recovery. She didn't trust any other doctors to take care of her so it made sense.
The progress of finding Alex is not really going anywhere. The team was surprised at how well Andy could track her down without a lot of resources while they were struggling with a ton.
While on one of Andy's walks she made it to the lab to check on their progress. It was only Tony in there at the moment and she wasn't too thrilled with that but Bruce was with her so she was okay.
"I don't understand how you tracked her." Tony said and she smiled a little.
"Alex is a street person. She knows where cameras are and she knows how to avoid it. Her aliases won't raise any red flags because she's been using them without fail. Unfortunately I don't know them." Andy said and Tony nodded as he kept working.
"So how did you find her?" Tony asked and Andy looked at him for a second.
"I was on the street for years. Since I escaped the red room. I learned from the best, and one of those people taught me all of those things. She will not be easy to find and it's basically impossible." Andy said.
"That doesn't help me much Spec." Tony said and Andy smiled a little.
"I'm getting there. The thing is, you're trying to find her through technology. You're doing it wrong. You need to be on the street to find her. Check Spain, Russia, New York, and Texas. That's where she likes to go. I don't know why she still likes Russia or Texas but she does. You won't find her on cameras but you will find her on the street of one of those places." Andy said and Tony nodded as he typed some things into the computer in front of him.
"Okay, that helped." Tony exhaled as he kept working.
"Well Andy you need to get back to bed and get some rest." Bruce said and Andy sighed. "I know, but you need the rest. You've been doing really well but the rest will help. Trust me." Bruce added and Andy got up slowly, realizing he was right.
As they were walking down back to the infirmary Clint turned the corner with Natasha and all four of them froze.
Clint looked at Andy and then looked down at his feet. Andy looked at Clint while he was looking down and looked down at her hands.
"Hey Andy, how are you doing?" Natasha asked and Andy looked up at her.
"I'm healing, which is what's important." Andy said and Natasha nodded a little.
They were all silent for a minute before Bruce cleared his throat.
"I think I need to get her back to bed." Bruce said and Clint nodded a little without saying anything as they passed on their way.
Natasha looked at him and sighed. "Will you grow up and talk to her even a little bit?" She asked and he looked at her.
"What are you talking about?" He asked and Natasha rolled her eyes as they continued to walk.
"Clint you may have broken up with her but you can still talk and be civil with her." Natasha said and Clint was trapped in his head for a minute before Natasha nudged him. "What are you thinking?" She asked.
"That you're right. I should be able to talk to her but for some reason I can't." Clint said and sighed.
"Aw, isn't that sad. The archer broke up with the freak." A voice said in front of them making both of them stop and look at the person in front of them.
"You have a lot of nerve showing your face in front of us." Natasha said and glared at the girl in front of them.
"Yeah, well I had to see the chaos that I had created and decided to create even more chaos." She said with smirk across her face.
"You destroy my life. Just over and over again." Clint said and took a step toward her. The girl took a step towards him to challenge him. "You're going to lose this time." He said.
"Now now Clint, we both know I'm going to win." She said and smirked.
Before any of them could say anything else an alarm began to blare in the tower. The three of them continued to look at each other and didn't even flinch.
"You're going to pay for everything you've done." Clint said.
"You walked into the lions den and there's a lot more lions than you thought there was. Everyone in this tower wants you dead." Natasha said and the girl in front of them smirked.
"Not everyone. I have some help this time." She said as Bucky walked up. He wasn't behind Natasha or Clint. He was behind the girl.
Natasha and Clint looked at each other realizing that Bucky was Winter again. The bitch was inside of his head again.
"You're not going to make it out of this tower." Clint said.
Alex smiled as Bucky ran to them and started swinging.
