When the team finally got back to the compound a few nurses came onto the jet to take Andy away as Bruce followed closely.
Natasha pulled Clint up from the seat he finally agreed to sit in. She put his arm around her shoulders and put her arm around his waist to help him walk. They were silent as they walked with no real destination.
"She probably won't be able to be seen for awhile." Natasha finally said and Clint silently nodded as they walked to the living area.
Natasha set Clint down and sat down next to him. The team filtered in and sat down around the pair. No one wanted to leave either of them. Natasha was close to Andy and Clint...he didn't know what he was going to do without her.
"She's not going to leave us." Bucky finally said as he entered the room and took a seat next to Steve. "She's strong, she's not going to leave you or us like that." He added and everyone looked back to Clint.
The injured archer slowly got to his feet, waving off Natasha's help.
"She did last time." Clint muttered as he managed to walk out of the room and started to make his way to the infirmary. He needed to get his leg checked out anyway, why not check on her too.
Silence fell over the team as Clint limped out and they all looked at Natasha.
"How bad did she look?" Tony asked and the red head paused for a second.
"Really bad Tony. They gave her hell, I'm surprised she was able to be conscious for even a minute when we got there." Natasha whispered.
"They were starting the process of wiping her though, I saw the machines. They were going to turn her into me." Bucky said softly and they looked at Tony.
"What?" Tony asked, confused why they were looking at him.
"You need to go check on her. Tell Bruce and see if there are any affects." Steve said and Tony reluctantly nodded before getting up and walking to the infirmary.
As Clint got to his destination, he saw Bruce walk out and leave Andy in a bed, still bloody but hooked up to machines, her heartbeat faint but there.
"Clint, what are you doing here? And why are you walking? You should be resting." Bruce said as he dragged Clint away from the window and to a close bed.
Clint didn't say a word as the doctor started to work on his leg. "She's alive, stable for now but she's been drifting in and out of consciousness, mostly out. The times she was conscious she was still very out of it. Honestly, I don't know if she's going to make it." Bruce explained as he started to stitch up the wound in Clint's leg.
The archer hissed in pain and nodded a bit. "How do you know she'll be okay?" He asked, trying to ignore the pain.
"We don't Clint, but she's a strong one. She made it back once and she'll make it again. Don't you worry. And yes I promise I'm not going to help her disappear. Alex is dead, and so was everyone in that base. She has nothing to run from anymore." Bruce explained as he finished.
Clint looked at the doctor and nodded a little. "Can I go in there?" Clint asked and Bruce sighed.
"Not right now, we're waiting till we know a little bit more till anyone but doctors are allowed to go in there. We can't risk anything. Just be patient okay?" Bruce asked and Clint nodded gently before looking back at Andy.
The two men looked at the unconscious girl laying in the bed on the other side of the glass.
"Hey Bruce, I gotta talk to you." Tony says, ignoring Clint.
"What's up?" Clint asked and Tony turned to him.
"Sorry Barton but I don't think it's a good idea to tell you. Bruce is gonna take care of her though." Tony said as he pulled the doctor away from the archer. Leaving Clint standing on his good leg, utterly confused.
"Okay what the hell was that?" Clint asked himself as he turned back to look at Andy.
After a few minutes Natasha walked up and stood next to Clint. "I think you should probably find a distraction." She said, turning to him.
"Like what?" Clint responded, not taking his eyes off of Andy.
"Well, are you hungry?" Natasha asked and he looked at her.
"Do you really have to ask?" Clint asked, a small smile on his lips.
Natasha smiled and nodded before walking towards the kitchen. Clint looked back at Andy once more before turning and following Nat.
"So Andy was going to be the next winter soldier and there might be some affects from the torture that we won't know about until she's awake?" Bruce asked, not sure if he summarized it correctly.
Tony nodded and continued to pace around the room. "We could possibly monitor her brain activity to see if there's any change." He suggested and Bruce thought about it for a minute.
"I'm not sure that would be any different but we can try." Bruce said, standing up from the stool he was sitting on.
"It's worth a try, she's become family and we can't really lose her again." Tony said and Bruce nodded, walking out of the room and back to Andy's.
It had been hours since Clint had checked on Andy, mostly because whenever he tried to get up someone would practically sit on him, making him stay where he was. His leg was the issue, he was supposed to stay off of it but he needed to see her.
Andy had been stable through Bruce and Tony trying to figure out of there were any difference in her brain activity, so far there was nothing. As they were taking everything off, Andy began to stir. First her eyebrows furrowed, then she started mumbling something, and then her heartbeat shot up causing Bruce to go into a frenzy trying to get it back to normal.
"Please stop, I didn't mean to hurt anyone. I didn't want to do this. I don't want to be here!" Andy said, louder and louder with each sentence.
"Tony get a sedative!" Bruce yelled as members of the team rushed to the room, Clint being the last one to arrive, his leg slowing him down.
When Clint saw what was happening he limped into the room, ignoring the teams protests, and softly put his hand on one of hers.
"I'm sorry Clint." Andy whispered before her heart rate reached normal again.
Everyone looked at each other as Clint sat down next to Andy's bed.
"I forgive you for everything." Clint whispered, gently kissing her hand.

A/N:
So I'm not quite sure if I should make her die or not, but I updated the week of finals! I'm impressed.
I hope you all have enjoyed this series because after this book I won't be continuing Spectra. I will be going back to edit it, but I won't be adding anything new.
I have two other published Marvel books, one is a Bucky fanfiction and one is a preference/imagine book. So you can read any one of those, I would love it if you would! But of course you don't have to.
Comment if you want her to live or die! I'll probably update sometime after finals because I'm actually starting to get stressed and this was my break from studying.
I hope you're having a good day and I hope you're okay!
Thank you for reading!
I'll see you soon!
