The team was in the tower relaxing after a mission. It wasn't a hard mission but it had been a long one. Clint was finally not taking risks and was actually caring about the team.
As they were relaxing and thinking about ordering in something to eat because all of them were too tired to make anything, there was a ding from the elevator.
Tony looked at the elevator and looked at everyone else. "That's not supposed to happen." He said and everyone looked at the elevator.
Bucky walked out of the elevator and everyone breathed a sigh of relief, but before anyone could say anything he took out a gun and shot Tony in the shoulder. Tony screamed at Bucky but he wasn't Bucky anymore, he was Winter
"Winter, everyone get to the lab!" Natasha said as Bucky was taking his aim at Clint.
He stared down the barrel of the gun and right before he got shot, Steve tackled him to the ground.
"What are you doing? Go to the lab!" Steve yelled at him snapping him out of his trance. He nodded and scrambled to his feet as Bucky continued to fir off shots.
"Get Bucky to the lab, to the room outside of it." Clint yelled back and Steve nodded even though he knew Clint didn't hear them.
Clint ran into the lab where Bruce was working on Tony's shoulder and he closed the labs doors behind him. "Steve is getting him to the green guys cell." Clint said and glanced at Bruce who was too focused on helping Tony.
"What the hell happened out there?" Tony asked as he winced and everyone just looked at each other.
"Either Alex double crossed us or there was another copy of that list out there." Thor said as Steve came in.
Everyone looked at him as they waited to see his reaction. "Excuse my language but we're tracking that bitch down." He said and everyone nodded in agreement.
Even though he almost died a few minutes before, all he could think of was Andy and how he could meet up with her again now that they knew Alex had sold the list.
Andy was lying unconscious in the bathroom of a rail somewhere in Europe when someone walked in and found her. They called the police and an ambulance and she was taken to the local hospital.
Once she woke up in the ambulance she freaked out. She couldn't go to the hospital. That would alert the team and that would alert the world she was still alive. She was pronounced dead and that was an explanation she didn't want to give again.
As soon as the ambulance stopped she struggled to get up and punch the EMTs. It was difficult to do but she was still strong enough to do it. When they were knocked out she open the back doors. She held her side as she limped down the street.
She had no idea where she was going and no idea what to do about her injuries because she had no idea what her injuries actually were. The only place she could think of to go is the place where she knew where her friends were. Not the Avengers but the people she spent time with when she got on the streets.
That was the best idea she had so she started to limp off to the alley they usually live in when they weren't driven away by the police.
When she got there they rushed to her side and asked her what happened and what her injuries were. She told them what happened and they looked at each other. They didn't know what to do with injuries that extensive. What they decided to do wasn't what she was expecting and wasn't what she needed.
They knocked her out and when she came to, they were gone. She was alone and she had no where to go. Her friends were gone and she had no way to find them. There was no way to contact Clint or anyone from the Avengers and there was no way she could get on a plane like this without being questioned by someone.
She leaned against the alley wall and winced as she sat up a little bit. The pain was getting worse and she came to the realization that she was going to die there. She was going to die in an alley somewhere in Europe and she wasn't going to be able to see Clint again. Tears gathered in her eyes and she didn't know if she was even going to make it through the night.
Clint and the team had been working around the clock to find Alex and Andy for two days. It had been really hard on Steve because his best friend was turned into his worst nightmare again.
Everyone but Steve had been watching Bucky on shifts to make sure he didn't get out of even hurt himself. So far he had been silent and just glared and paced. No one really knew what to do. They wanted to help Steve but they could only work so fast to find Alex and confront her.
Tony had been healing and he wasn't taking a shift on the Bucky watch because he might try to kill him because he shot him. He was working his hardest to find Alex because it was her fault he got shot. "Found the bitch!" He exclaimed making everyone jump.
"Where is she?" Clint asked as he ran over to look at his screen.
"She's in Europe, particularly Spain." Tony said. "She might've moved by now but that was the last place her face showed up in a surveillance camera." He said and Clint nodded.
"Okay, well let's go. Let's go see if she's still in Spain and look for Andy." Clint said and started to get together his things.
"Hey, slow down there Hawkeye. We need to get a plan and we need to calm down first." Natasha said and he sighed but nodded.
All he wanted to do was see if Andy was there. Where Alex went, Andy wasn't that far behind.
