Phantasm

Chapter 5

(Forgive me if I'm a little bit rusty)

Andy ran into the lab and saw Banner, or the Hulk as he was tearing it apart and yelling at every little thing. His yell echoed through the lab and made Andy's heart stop for a second. She hadn't faced anything this big in a long time and she didn't know if she was ready or not.

"We need Natasha." Steve said and Andy didn't respond. She just walked slowly into the lab. "Hulk?" She asked and he whipped around to face her.

She could see the anger in his face and she could see Banner in his eyes.

"Hey there, you know me. My name is Andy. You know me and I know you Banner." She said and The Hulk responded with a louder roar and lunged at her.

She quickly dodged and climbed up his back. It was difficult because he was reaching at her but he didn't get her.

She quickly put her arms around his neck and held on tightly as Hulk was still thrashing around trying to get her off but he wasn't successful. "Come on Hulk I know you can calm down. I know that Banner is still in there. Come on Banner, control it." She said and The Hulk actually stopped trying to get her off of his back.

His momentary pause caused Andy to let go of Hulks neck a little bit but she was thrown to the ground as The Hulk began to shrink.

Steve came running back into the lab with Natasha in tow. They stopped in the doorway as they saw Andy laying on the ground rubbing her back as Bruce was going back to normal.

"What happened here?" Steve asked and took a few steps into the lab.

"I just told him that I knew he could calm down and that I knew Banner was still in there." Andy said as she stood up and looked over at him.

"Usually when we mention Bruce or Banner to The Hulk he punches us." Steve said as he looked in awe between Andy and Bruce.

"So what set you off Bruce?" Natasha asked as she walked towards Bruce to help him stand up and to help him get dressed again.

"I'm not quite sure. All I know is that I was doing some research and I heard yelling and I looked at the computer and there was obviously something I didn't like on it but I can't remember what it is." Banner explained as Andy started to walk over to his computer. "You won't know how to work that." Bruce said and she gave him a look before standing in front of the computer.

"Well, this is a complicated computer but I can figure it out...I think." She said as she started to mess with some buttons.

"Okay let's not mess with this computer." Banner said as he rushed over to the computer.

Andy stepped away from the computer but kept looking over Bruce's shoulder as he looked through what he could possibly have been looking at.

"Well that makes sense." Bruce says and Andy nods in agreement as she stares at the face that shot her.

Of course Bruce was looking up Alex. She kidnapped him and probably made him stay the Hulk and probably even tortured him. Andy wasn't sure what had happened when Alex took him but she wasn't going to ask because that could make him turn into the Hulk again and she didn't want to deal with that again.

Andy looked at Bruce and sighed. "You looked her up?" She asked and Bruce shrugged. "I guess so." He responded.

"Looked who up?" Natasha asked as she walked over to the computer. "Alex." She sighed as she saw the picture on the screen. "How is she alive again?" Natasha asked and Andy shrugged.

"I was going to try to take down the remaining members of the red room. I went into one building and saw her, panicked and ran back out. I couldn't do anything because I flashed back to when she tried to kill me." Andy elaborated and they all just looked at the screen.

"I think we should try to capture her." Steve said from the opposite side of the room.

"You're kidding right? You're never going to be able to catch her let alone capture her. She obviously has some sort of strength now because she bent the handles on the door so I couldn't get out. Who knows what other special abilities she has now." Andy said as she walked over to Steve.

"She tried to kill you and she tortured Banner. She needs to be off the streets so she doesn't try to attack us when we're not looking." Steve said and Andy sighed as she looked over at Natasha and Bruce.

"I guess it would be safer if we did capture her. But this is going to take months and months of planning and stakeouts because she is really hard to beat." Andy said and Steve nodded. "We'll take everyone to to take her down, and I mean everyone." Steve said and Andy nodded a little.

"Well isn't this touching. A touching reunion and a touching plot of revenge. Against me." A voice said from the doorway. Andy froze and Bruce's face was starting to get a little green again. "Nice to see you again Banner, long time no fight, and Andy it hasn't been long enough." She said as she walked into the room.

"How are you even in here?" Natasha asked as the girl walked up to Andy and smirked.

"I have a few tricks up my sleeve now." The girl said and Bruce walked towards her.

"You can either get out now or be thrown out. By someone who isn't quite as friendly." He said as his neck turned even greener.

"As much as I would love to see my old friend the Hulk, I can't stay for long. I need to catch up with some old friends that aren't you two. Now excuse me as I go find Mr. Stark and talk about some weapons he used to make." Alex said as she sauntered out of the room leaving everyone in it rooted to the spot with their mouths hanging open.

So I am back, I know that I've been gone for awhile and I am sorry about that.

College is interesting so updates might be rare but I'll be writing.
