Phantasm

Chapter 14

Andy heard the alarm sounding around the tower. Bruce looked at her. 

"You stay here." He said before running out. 

Andy rolled her eyes and she slowly got out of the bed. "Like I'm going to stay here." She muttered to herself. Bruce came running back into the room and locked the doors quickly. 

"Alex is here and Bucky isn't Bucky." Bruce explained.

Her eyes widened as she stood up. "Then let me out there, I can help." She said. 

He pushed her back onto the bed and shook his head. "Not like that you can't." He said and ignored her protests as he got in touch with the team. 

"Headed to where she is." Steve breathed as he was running through the hallways. 

"Working on something to get Bucky back, give me a little bit of time." Tony said as you heard his  keyboard. 

"Clint and Natasha are there already." Thor said as he was running to Bucky as well. 

Andy heard Clint's name and looked at Bruce. "I have to go help. I'm the reason she's here." She said and Bruce thought for a second. 

"You might get even more injured Andy. I don't want you going out there and getting hurt." Bruce said and she got up and walked over to him. 

"Bruce, she's here for me and she won't stop until I'm dead or everyone I care about suffers. She's already gotten to Clint." Andy bargained. "This is something I have to do." She said and Bruce nodded. 

"Fine, but be careful." He said and unlocked the door. "Just don't die." He said and she nodded before walking out of the infirmary. 

While Clint and Natasha were facing Alex, Thor, Steve, and Tony were fighting Winter and struggling to keep up with him. None of them expected this big of a fight. One second they had Alex pinned against the wall and the next second they were off of her and she was winning again. 

Fighting Winter was one of Steve's worst fears, that if Bucky turned into Winter again would he ever come back to the Bucky he knew? 

Andy walked up to the scene of chaos and Alex was the first person to see her. 

"Andy, holy shit you're still alive." Alex grunted as she punched at Natasha. 

"Yeah I'm alive, no thanks to you and your henchmen." Andy said as Alex laughed. 

"Henchmen? Oh honey those were no henchmen. They were people who are more skilled than the Avengers will ever be." Alex said and Andy rolled her eyes as Alex stops fighting. Clint and Natasha look between themselves and then in between Alex and Andy. 

"What are you talking about?" Andy asked and Andy smirked. 

"You still think this is about making you hurt and making your life a living hell like mine was and still is? This moved past you a long time ago." Alex smirked and looked at everyone around her. 

Steve, Thor, and Tony were still struggling to control Winter and Alex smirked at them before turning back to face Andy. 

"When did it move past that?" Andy asked as she walked towards Alex. Her injuries still made her have a small limp even though her leg was mostly healed up. The cuts and bruises have healed all together so there was no sign of most of the physical injuries that then men had inflicted on Andy. 

"You killed someone very close to me. You keep tracking me no matter how hard I try to get away. Now with the Avengers on my back, I will never get away. So do you know what I really want? I want to disappear and I want to have a somewhat normal life. The thing is, i can't have that if you all are trying to find me." Alex said as walked up to Andy. "I want to get rid of all of you. So that people like me can actually have a life, and have the life that they want." Alex whispered to Andy. 

There was a minute or two where neither one of them moved, or seemed that they breathed. The first one to move was Andy, and she punched Alex in the face. 

"You think you can turn Bucky back into the monster that he hates and get away with it? You think that you can come in here and say that you want to eliminate all of us and we'll let you go free? You must be the biggest idiot in the world if you think that you can go free after all of what you just said." Andy said almost laughing. 

"Yeah, I may be the biggest idiot in the world but I also have the best backup. Other than the Winter Solider over there I have the worlds biggest organization behind me. I have Hydra." Alex said and everyone froze, even the people fighting Winter. 

Steve got knocked down by his own shield, Thor was thrown against a wall, and Tony was thrown down the hallway. 

"You can't have Hydra." Andy said and Alex shook her head. 

"You cut off one head, two more shall take it's place." Alex said and looked back at Winter. She said something in Russian to make him stop and started to walk down the hallway but was stopped by Clint. 

"You think you can come into my home and destroy it? Well think again bitch." Clint yelled as he ran at her and tackled her. 

Alex fell to the ground and screamed a little as Clint started to hit her. Natasha ran over to them and pulled Clint off of Alex. 

Andy walked over to Alex on the ground and looked at her. "You think that's bad? You haven't seen anything yet." Andy said as she punched her in the face again, knocking Alex out. 

Andy looked up and saw Bucky looking around at the mess in the hallway. Steve and Thor were trying to talk him down as Tony came back to the group.  

Natasha was talking to Clint by the wall in a shed voice, probably about what just happened between him and Alex because no one had seen him that angry, like ever. 

Then there was Andy. She was standing in the middle of the hallway, in her hospital gown, and above Alex's unconscious body. This was chaos, and it was nearing the end for some.
