Mel and Chris's Big decision

Day Out At The Baseball.

Hey supervalorian's, here is another chapter, I hope you enjoy this one. So I did my best with the baseball lingo, and all that sort of stuff.  Also, don't forget to go check my new story out. My simple life. 

Authors POV

Today was Friday which meant that Sam would be coming home with Olivia and Bet, so they could wake up and go to the baseball game midmorning on Saturday and knowing that the game would go on for a long time sam would also be staying Saturday night as well.

As the day went on for the kids, all they could talk about was the baseball game, some of the other boys even asked if they wanted to play a small game, which for Olivia and Beth was quite scary but once they both got into the game and the boys were encouraging them and cheering them on. Since Olivia and Seth where the only two girls willing to play with the boys, a few of the other classmates watch as well as the teachers, on how the girls were now interacting with many of the other classmates.

The school was coming to the end of the day, and the teacher has a small surprised for some of the class.

"So today I saw a group of students invite some people to play with them and these two people have asked me to give them a point for their prize box. So when you come back on Monday you will have a start on your desk and you can come and collect your prize" The teacher said with a smiled and with that the bell rang and they said their good afternoon to the teacher and walked out.

A few of the kids surrounded Olivia, Sam, and Beth, talking to them. not realizing that Chris was standing meters away from them, once they all left Beth and Olivia walked over to Chris giving him a hug while Sam stood there. "Sam Melissa said that your mum gave everything to her yesterday? And we're all good to go?" He asked Sam and he nodded. "Great, so I was thinking we could go get some ice cream, but we can tell Melissa," he said as the kids laughed and jumped for joy.

the kids followed Chris in trying not to spill their secret of having ice cream, mind you Chris did ask Perry if Sam could have ice cream and she said it was alight.

Olivia and Beth saw Melissa laying on the couch, so they ran up to her giving her a hug.

after having a hard time putting the kids to bed since they had two lots of ice creams in the space of a couple of hours they were finally down. "You ready for this, I mean having three kids if we adopt Beth, with this one as well, I mean one this one has its sleeping pattern down it will be fine" Melissa explained. "Melissa we will be fine, we will figure it out," Chris said with a smile pulling her down and into a kiss. "Umm" Melissa moaned into the kiss. "we're not as young as all those other parents," she said pulling away. "Well, I'm pretty sure that if you can play Supergirl and we can do what we're about to do then I think we are fit and young enough to have three kids and possibly one more," Chris said with a smile pulling Melissa down and into another passionate heated kiss.

The next morning the three children woke up and watch some tv letting the parents sleep in. Once the parents were up and the children were fed and ready to go, the parents got ready for themselves, by the time they were ready it was almost mid-morning and they were ready to go off to the baseball.

Before they got out out the car, Chris and Melissa made sure to talk to the kids to make sure that they were all safe, and they stayed with me, not wanting to lose any of them.

"Are we all good?" Chris asked the kids who were now out of the car, holding hands of Chris and Melissa, one in the middle and two on the outer side of them. They all nodded and walked towards the gates that were now open.

Once they found there seat, and even though they just ate, Chris asked the kids if they wanted anything to eat, or drink, which Melissa didn't like because there was so much crap here, that she didn't want the kids to get sick or eat lots of crappy foods. The three kids look at Melissa, and then back at Chris and they shook their heads. He nodded and sat back down.

As the game was about to start the commentator and one of the cameramen were looking around for someone to through the first pitch, the kids started to wave to get their attention and it did. "With don't we have three first pitches. Kids come one down" the commentator said, and with the help from Melissa and Chris the kids were down on the field.

The kids were out on the field with Melissa and Chris standing next to them. "So what are your names?" He asked they all looked to the two adults, beds them, and they nodded, "Olivia" Olivia said "Beth" "Beth said "Sam" Sam said, as they all smiled. The three kids got given a ball each and each threw it to the pitcher one by one. Once they all had one of the players brought back a hat for each of the kids and their ball that they threw. The kids all looked up at the tall player as he knew down. "Great throws kids, did you want a photo?" He asked them, they all nodded, Melissa and Chris got their phones out and took photos of the kids, mind you they were already taking photos when they were pitching. He shook each of the kid's hand and then went back to the other players. The kids ran back to Melissa and Chris, showing them what they got. When they were escorted back to their seats, Chris noticed something on each ball. It was the number of each player. He showed Mel, and it gave him a great idea.

It was halftime and Chris had been gone for a while, Melissa was really busting to go to the bathroom, and I couldn't understand why Chris couldn't take Sam with him, or at least all of the kids Melissa though, just as that thought almost escaped, Chris returned. "I am going to take them to the bathroom, plus I really need to pee too," Melissa said, a small chuckle escaped his mouth. They kissed. Since Chris came back with no food which was really odd, the kids and Melissa came back with 5 drinks and a bunch of food for them all. Melissa handed Chris a drink along with some food for him, while Olivia, Beth, and Sam came into their seats smiling with a drink, and lots of goodies to eat.

"Um I think you should eat something other than candy" Chris stated as he pulled out a container of fruit. "Eat your lunch first then have some fruit and then you can eat your candy," Melissa said they all nodded with their cheeks full of the candy they just ate. Mel and Chris chuckled with a smile.

As the game went on the kids and Melissa were starting to get very tired. Olivia sat on Melisa's Lap, while Beth sat Chris's lap, and Sam sat on the middle of Melissa and Chris. The kids eventually fell asleep but when the winning team's song came on they jolted up. "Who won?" Same asked "The Yankees" and the kids automatically start to cheer, making Melissa and Chris laugh.

Once the song finished which the kids insisted on staying for, they all walked back to the car, well more like Melissa and Chris walled back to the car with Olivia and Beth In Chris's arms since he was stronger and Melissa hold the backpack they brought, now half filled with leftover food and the Kids souvenirs, and carrying Sam, who was cuddling into her chest. Once the kids were in the car, Melissa and Chris jumped in. Halfway home Chris looked over to see Melissa fast asleep, with one hand on her bump and the other resting on the hand rest. Chris looked back to see the kids fast asleep. He looked over at Melissa and draped her hand going it a squeeze, making her slightly wake up, she nodded his head back to the kids, she looked back and smiled at them. She stayed awake for the remainder of the car ride. When the arrived home, the kids woke up and were ready to run around again, from the 25-minute nap they had in the car.

Melissa and Chris decided not to have such a big dinner but to have more of a snack. Chris made some nachos, along with some guacamole. The kids insisted that they bring their sleeping bags out with their pillows and Olivia duvet and blankets to make a fortress so they could sleep in their tonight. Chris and Melissa put on a movie while the kids ate their dinner away from all the blankets so they wouldn't get dirty. Halfway through the movie, the kids fell asleep. Chris put the kids into the fortress and cleaned up the mess from dinner. Once everything was cleaned up the two adults went to bed themselves very tired from the big day.

"You know, no matter how many kids we have, it's going to be hard and full on, but to see them so happy and excited overrides everything," Melissa told Chris.

"Yeah you think so?" He asked "Yeah, and you know something?" She asked him. "What?" He questioned. "Having you here with me, alongside me for the ride is the best thing because I get to share and experience it all with you?" Melissa said with a smile giving him a kiss,

"Yeah, I'm glad you think so" he replied with a smile pulling her into a kiss. They gladly gave each other a passionate kiss, deepening it. "Um we have three little kids out there" Melissa stated. "And they are fast asleep," Chris said pulling her back in.
