13. Is this the end of the world?

"Hey, Alex!" Jack called, bursting in through the doorway holding a large bunch of flowers. He knew it was cheesy but, still, it didn't stop him.

Alex was curled up in his sheets looking miserable as ever and pulled the cover over his head when he heard Jack approaching from the doorway. "Get up fatty." Jack joked, pulling the cover right off his boyfriend exposing his bare chest.

"I don't want to." He mumbled against the fabric of his bed, "and I'm not fat." His head pressed further into his pillows. Jack put the flowers in a vase and placed them on the wooden dressing table, smiling to himself at the pretty display before waltzing over and jumping into bed with Alex, fingers dancing gently over his exposed hip-skin before hooking around the small of his back to pull their hips closer to each other.

Jack knew full well why Alex didn't want to get up; he had a speech to write and deliver and it had to be done by noon so what was the best way to avoid starting? Sleeping.

Jack began his assault on Alex's neck straight away, liking and biting gently at the skin knowing full well that the boy couldn't stand up in front of everyone with purple bruised neck and no explanation. Alex soon caught on, jumping up with a pillow. "Oh no you don't." He glared meaningly at the giggling boy rolling around on his bed happily and in a childlike manner.

Alex launched the pillow at him causing Jack to lose his balance and topple over the other side of the bed and onto he cold hard floor.

All went deadly silent. "Jack?" Alex asked, heart picking up it's pace and praying he hadn't knocked his boyfriend out. "Jaack?" He whispered again, walking over slowly, dreading what he might find because hell, the floor was rock hard-literally. The prince crawled over the bed and was just peeping his head over the other side when Jack, who had been waiting, looped his long arms around Alex's neck and pulled him on top of him, pulling their lips together as he did so.

Alex groaned and placed his hands on either side of Jack pushing himself up and detaching their lips. "You worried me." He frowned and Jack giggled again, getting up and pouting whist walking over to his boyfriend and smothering his face in little kisses.

"I'm sorry," he pressed a kiss to his nose. "But I bought you flowers."

Alex's gaze flickered over to the full vase and he rolled rolled his eyes. "Oh my god." He laughed, gripping on tightly to Jack and pulling their bodies flush against each other. "Thank you." He whispered, leaning in and connected his soft lips to Jack's rough ones. Said boys arms slipping effortlessly over Alex's bare back and up the top, hooking his hands over his shoulder blades.

"Jump," Jack mumbled and Alex got the message, indeed launching himself up and letting Jack's hands curl around his thighs, holding him up like a baby. His hands pulled at Jack's hair and he let out an almighty moan into Alex's mouth. Chuckling, Alex did it again, rather liking the effect he had on his boyfriend.

The pair were absolutely wrapped up in each other, oblivious to what was going to around them so when the door burst open and the King stood gawking at them, neither boy noticed. Well, not until the loud boom of Peter's voice called the guards to seize them.

Jack was ripped from Alex's protective embrace and shackles were put roughly around his wrist. He whimpered but knew better than to try to escape. "Let him go!" Alex demanded as they handled his boyfriend much more carelessly and roughly than he liked. He hated it. Jack's arm was ripped behind his back and a strangled cry escaped his throat.

Alex had his own problems, struggling going against the guards restricting him but it didn't stop him demanding to let Jack free. Peter stepped forwards as Jack was dragged forcibly away through the doors and down to the dungeons-he imagined. The king stood in front of Alex and slapped him hard and fast across the face. His head whipped to the side, jaw hanging open and blood beginning to seep from his inside cheek where he'd accidentally bitten it. This was becoming all too familiar. "What on earth do you think you're doing boy?!"
