Forgetting the past and the anger behind it is pretty hard.
Letting go of all the hate isn't easy either.
Some say when you forgive it, your heart gets lighter.
I try but I can't forget the tears and my damaged self.
I can't forget the suicidal thoughts and near death experiences.
Unbearable days and everlasting nights until I got away from you.
Worse ones now when I remember you.
