smear me over your skin like glittery body butter.
stand under fluorescent lights, so the world sees me all around you.

stick me to your ceiling like glow-in-the-dark stars.
turn off your lights, so the world can't see you can lay under me.

stand under the open night sky and wait for me.
maybe i will, maybe i won't, but the moon and stars will testify of my presence.

but alas, the sun is not our friend, she is hostile and glares down on your soft, soft skin.

her disgusting yellow mane burns down your resolve and drains your heart.

come into me, child of the night, let me wrap you in my cool embrace.

come into me, you nocturnal creature, for i am vast enough to wrap around your soul, and I never get finished.

i am only for a few hours, child of the night.
come into me now, see a new kind of light.
